Brookside to air in full from Feb
 

STV Player has bought the rights to show every episode from the start of Feb

I'll have to tell my Mom about this.:joker:

Oh I loved brookside it was my favourite soap

I think it will look too dated now, would be like watching older eps of Corrie or Emmerdale, can't really see the point of it

My first recollection is of a girl going home and telling her big brother that a lad had either hurt her or something.. then the brother dashed off to sort the lad out

Classic Corrie’s amazing though.

people like to look at the old cars, old attitudes, a time before mobiles, internet etc

a time when people did not pretend that a man in a wig is a woman

i think it will have a following

Apart from the fabulous script / acting / topics - the cast was also tremendous and many went onto great things

I’d forgotten about the gorgeous Amanda Burton and Anna Friel

Well that was via FreePlay …

I found the STV on Sky Q as well last night so I’ll hopefully have more luck using that version .. you have to change the aspect via SkyQ but the picture looks somewhat clearer
