Well it shouldn’t make any difference either way to anyone .. that said he’s very brave as he’s likely to get a lot of negative reactions from the ignorant ..plus he personally won’t really benefit from his actions ..

It really needs all the others to join him … sadly that ain’t gonna happen any time soon

there is not - i dont know a single football fan who would ever want to know what their players sexual desires were

it has nothing at all to do with football and its never an issue.

Straight players should stop parading their wives and girlfriends around, the world doesn’t need to have their sexuality shoved down its throat

He’s just trying to set an example for others to follow .. just saying he’s proud to be gay not embarrassed or whatever - I just think this is not an effective way of doing it

I don’t think it’s anything to do with his private thoughts or preferences

I have no idea what any of our players wives look like

I'm not saying that they have to.

I just don't want him being abused for it when playing a game of Football that everyone is suppose to be able to enjoy.

opposing fans abuse players for any number of reasons short, tall, bald, geordie etc etc etc. It means nothing
