It's close for me, but I think that I for some reason still edge towards regular TV.

streaming except live sport

Nicky91 16-03-2023 08:33 AM

tv for my dosage of reality shows (Big Brother, Expeditie Robinson (Survivor NL), De Verraders (Traitors) Chateau Meiland, Wie is de Mol (The Mole)) & eurovision song contest, and we have ESPN for our eredivisie

streaming services (Disney+, Skyshowtime for series, films) and Viaplay for sports: Formula 1, Darts, Premier League, Bundesliga

and then we also have the free ''Samsung TVPlus which also has some interesting channels such as Euronews, Tennis Channel, RakutenTV films''

most i watch with my dad downstairs, apart from Big Brother, and i also watch a lot of german tv such as DSDS, Lets Dance in my own room

I actually rarely watch streaming services. If I'm not watching sport I'd rather just check the TV guide and watch whatever looks interesting. Probs only watch an hour or two of TV each day so can never be bothered to get massively invested in a TV show that goes on for dozens and dozens of episodes. If I have more free time in an evening I'd rather watch a film and get the full experience in one evening

Regular TV, hardly ever - only if there is live football or something like that.

I watch a few streaming shows, not too many though. I like to keep the costs down by only subscribing when I need to.

Like with Ted Lasso on Apple TV I'll start watching it in a few weeks so I get value for money from the subscription.

I would prefer if all streaming services would release their episodes all-at-once instead of week-to-week.

i managed to wangle a years free subscription to apple tv by taking advantage of 6 month free trials being offered by sky and also EE. I'm sure lots of other phone companies etc will do similar

You now can watch any football match via an illegal stream

I dont do that but i do like to get access to a link so I know not to click it

I get Amazon prime free trials every so often whenever they offer it to me when i buy something. Never really watched much on it though

Regular.

I read more than I watch, so 80% of the time whatever's on is just "in the background". I'm too stingy to pay for streamers for this reason (apart from BritBox) so if I watch something not on regular tv, it's pirated through my PC, and I don't use my PC a whole lot.

So the end result is most of my "watched" telly is regular, but not by design or anything :joker:
