I do always review Air BnB's when we go to them. Like "Lovely log burner" or "Permanently crippled by shoddy decking".

A place would have to be pretty bad for me to give a bad review, I'd feel too guilty :p I do read reviews a lot though before I book somewhere (and will always review a place if it's really good)

There's a podcast called Beach Too Sandy, Water Too Wet which reads out one-star reviews.

I like to read the frustration of the person reviewing at having to give the place even one star :joker:

Well yes but in this case - the food was objectively disgusting.

Of Ben Nevis in Scotland, this reviewer wrote "This was almost a FULL day's
climbing and my girlfriend was crying at one point. When we did get to the top
there was nothing there (Mount Snowdon has a pub, restaurant and toilets at
its top). Luckily we had brought some sandwiches and drinks, so anyone else
climbing this one - BE WARNED- there are NO facilities at the top. The climb
basically went on for far too long and the last part was particularly steep and
difficult. It was also cloudy at the top so the view was non-existent. The long
walk back down was boring and again took too long."

Review of Mt Everest:

"Took months. There was no oxygen at the top and my brother died. 3/5."

Would have rated it 2 stars if it had been the brother I liked :oh:
