They should just have filled all ten spots with Beatles albums if it's about changing music.

Stone Roses by Stone Roses should be on there.

Led Zep 3 is better than Led Zep 4

Let it Bleed is a great album but the Stones have done better ones.

I 100% agree with Stone Roses- other than that in no particular order my ten would be;
Bandwagonesque - Teenage Fanclub
Experience - Prodigy
Screamadelica - Primal Scream
Up the Bracket - The Libertines
His and Hers - Pulp
Dig your own hole - Chemical Brothers
Lungs - Florence & the Machine
The Bends - Radiohead
Suede - Suede

Very 90's / 00's centric but those were the groundbreaking british albums of my time IMO

Mmmm ‘changing’ music forever meaning they were unique but also fabulous enough to influence …

I can only think of a few of the top of my head … Beatles , Pink Floyd , Radiohead .

i agree with the op, and it is 50 years since i went and picked up my copy from "Listen" records on release day :spin2:

Another one that i would say had a big impact at the beginning of the age of CD was Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms



Interesting fact. The song was about the Falklands war and Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Jones who single handed picked up a machine gun and charged at the enemy resulting in the UK winning the battle and subsequently the war. Unfortunately, he died in the process
