What's the most unusual way you've ever met a boy/girlfriend?
 

Inspired by Seths door to door sales thread. :pipe:

I met Tim in Southport doing door to door sales and dated him for about 3 months. It fizzled out but I've got good memories.

I've been with my wife since I was 22 so my only two stories are either "School" or how I met her (on a student forum) - I guess with those options it has to be that, since I doubt there's anything more usual than "school" :joker:.

Also it was like 2007 so meeting people off the Internet was still considered "weird" and we had to pretend we met through Uni for fear of ridicule so that was fun. These days it's pretty much the normal way people meet :umm2:.

We did basically move in together the day we met and haven't lived apart since, so I guess that's a bit less usual :laugh:.

I was walking home one day and there was a girl a little older than me (20) I was 18, walking about 40 metres ahead of me.

She was passing a gate and got the fright of her life when a dog went crazy, barking like mad at her as she passed the locked gate.

She walked on but stopped as I was passing the gate, I just stared the dog out and it just walked away without barking at me. This must have impressed her cause I was up at her house getting my end away in no time at all.
