https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2023/04...0816374014.jpg
Using his Signature [Labour blasted for 'gutter politics' attack on Rishi Sunak which maliciously claimed the PM doesn't believe that child sex abusers should be jailed Labour was accused of 'pandering to prejudice' and engaging in 'gutter politics' Advert put out claiming the PM does not believe sex abusers should be jailed] Even Labours John McDonald said take it down. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rs-jailed.html |
The statistic may be right.
The tweet shockingly constructed. As are many statements from the Cons against Labour too which hard-line Cons support and laugh at. This however is a further demonstration as to why politics needs to be completely shaken up and changed. The vast majority of people don't like this extremely divisive politics. From any and ALL Parties. It's why we need to work to a political system and voting system which creates a more working together to really succeed. Get rid of this nonsense going on for way too long now. |
"The statistic may be right."
Joey it goes back to 2010 Sunak not even a Politician, then. Labour using American Style attack tweets |
Twitter itself has had to add a warning
saying the Tweet is not right As Sunak has given ordered 14 years for Paedophiles. Just reported Lucy Powell MP Labour MP backs the Tweet She has gone on all the on the News TV and Radio |

I said the statistic MAY well be right. I then went on to say the tweet SHOCKINGLY constructed. Thereby the statistic right. The tweet WRONG. If you must selectively on even such a small post take a bit of it, then at least balance it correctly please. After all Starmer gets criticised and condemned by Cons for things Labour did pre 2010. I guess you may say that's alright to do however. Starmer has only been an MP since 2015. Same should apply. |
Yes,
the Tweet is Wrong. Starmer is backing it the fool |

Fine arista. I'll leave you to get on with it. |

Got to love the media being completely silent on every aspect of Tory wrongdoing, but jumping on the chance to discredit labour in any way possible
|
It not only factually incorrect its almost infantile in its stupidity
:umm2: who on earth signed it off?? |
Sorry, i don't think it's gutter politics. We just heard about a man that raped a child in scotland and got no jail time because he was considered too young. This strikes me as very similar, and should be pointed out at every opportunity

Scotland is run by SNP That Tweet is a Lie |

Tories have been calling Labour the friends of smugglers and illegal immigrant rapists for how long now? Spare me the faux offence about the same game being played
|
This is Outright Lie
Prime Minister Sunak does not say that. Thats why Twitter had to add a warning |
MPs and commentators from across the political spectrum have criticised a Labour attack
ad claiming that Rishi Sunak does not think child sex abusers should go to prison. The opposition party was accused of “cheapened and debased” politics and “stooping low” after posting the advert on Twitter on Thursday.

The opposition being held to a higher standard than the governing party hellbent on destroying the country and our reputation
|
i understand everything clearly. It's an outrage if people arent convicted in Scotland, because the scottish government is SNP. Labour are an outrage for pointing out that the same has been happening in england under the tories
That sums this thread up |

Utter Rubbish you post I posted another Conservative MP Scott Benton getting caught up in a Times reporter sting |
The fact that Twitter have had to contextualize the tweet speaks volumes:
Provides important context · Cites high-quality sources Tweet implies that the PM, Rishi Sunak, doesn't support prison sentences for sexual assaults against children. The current sentencing guidelines for this crime has a maximum sentence of 14 years imprisonment. https://www.sentencingcouncil.org.uk...-with-a-child/ There is no conservative party policy that plans to remove this. https://www.conservatives.com/our-plan --------------------- have a look at the replies to the tweet - its all Labour supporters absolutely trashing it huge own goal |

Can’t remember Boris being questioned on the media rounds about accusing Starmer of letting Saville get away with abuse
