The man who livestreamed the murder of his colleagues in Kentucky was a finance
graduate who had found out he was about to be fired from his banking job, sources have
told US media.

Connor Sturgeon said in a note to his parents and a friend that he would target the bank
where he had worked for over a year, according to a police source

[All-American shooter: How did high
school basketball star from middle-class Indiana family
starting his career in banking turn
into nation's latest mass murderer?
Connor Sturgeon, 25, shot and killed five people
on Monday at the Louisville bank where he
worked,
after he learnt he was about to be fired
Sturgeon, raised in Indiana,
was a star high school athlete and
a popular, bright student with graduated
from the University of Alabama
with a degree in finance
Friends and neighbors have told of
their shock at his actions, describing him
as very ordinary and showing no sign
of any strange behavior

[Yet on Monday the promising trajectory came
crashing spectacularly down: Sturgeon, 25,
took an AR-15 rifle into the bank in Louisville
where he worked, and

murdered five of his senior colleagues.
Nine others were wounded, including two police
officers - one of whom had only been with
the force 10 days, and was shot in the head.
Sturgeon was shot and killed by cops inside
Old National Bank.

As a big boss I hope none of my juniors feel like they want to kill me.
I am a stern boss and they all know exactly what I need them to deliver.
But I think I am always fair and believe that is respected by all of them.

Crimson Dynamo 11-04-2023 11:25 AM

the shooter used an AR 15. Americans love that gun.

The legally purchased AR-15-style rifle used in a deadly workplace shooting at a bank in Louisville will probably be auctioned to the public, officials say.
