Out of interest what is this genre of Music?

I'm genuinely interested because I thought that I'd explored nearly every Music genre out there.:laugh:

songs with 110% emotion, passion with a great dance beat in instrumentals

usually combined with pop but you also have those who combine with rock (Ben Zucker, Nino de Angelo) or some with sea shanties (Santiano)



this is more the easy listening kind of german music, while the ballads in german are much more deeper, serious (acts like Revolverheld, Silbermond) or some do combine ballads with schlager rock (Munchener Freiheit, do you know ''Ohne Dich'' or ''Viel zu Weit'')


and also some with latin pop, like Pietro Lombardi


Party Schlager is from the german tourist location in Mallorca nicknamed Ballermann: Kerstin Ott, Mickie Krause, Lorenz Buffel, Ikke Huftgold, Almklausi

one in the UK who comes close to schlager, Right Said Fred?

they also covered a schlager song btw, She Always Laughs, (original is by Kerstin Ott: Die Immer Lacht)
