Looking forward to it. Let's hope we can do Ukraine justice. I will be watching it at home with friends and we'll have an international buffet. We also finish all those bottles of
booze everyone brings back from holiday. |
They ruined it last year awarding Ukraine the win and we have a crap song and a very unappealing poorly educated narcissist singer.
Most likely I won't watch |
we are making a big assumption that the people from liverpool don't run off with the set

When have the Eurovision votes/wins not been political? When has the UK not had a **** entry from an irritating entrant? ... it's not Eurovision that's changed, LT - the change is from within :worry: |
Should be in Edinburgh though, as to fulfil the predictions of the wise prophet Will Ferrell.

We only ever watch the voting, its a bore fest and drags on too long tbh, bit more interest this year as it is in Liverpool

lot of fun things now
tomorrow coronation as of upcoming week tuesday and thursday for first time ever on primetime BBC1 the semi finals (with a new concept of showing results, x factor/dsds style with contestants standing on stage waiting for who is through) and yes @Cherie ESC in your own country feels more special, i enjoyed ours in 2021 too a lot more, we really gave the world such 3 special shows in our wonderful Ahoy in Rotterdam i'm sure Liverpool will also give us 3 wonderful shows and that the UK will do Ukraine proud, i wonder if Zelensky will attend one of the events too, would make sense for him to be there at sunday's carpet opening ceremony  |
there is way more important football on that weekend and people will be partied out with the coronation to bother

i reckon there'll come more hype to the contest on Sunday when the press gets the opportunity to interview all of the acts and take photos on the carpet ceremony this ''no press at rehearsals'' is pretty much new to prevent spoilers and leave artists be in peace and quiet during important moments of their careers in this contest (what we know is watched by hundreds of millions viewers worldwide) but yes no press means lesser hype during rehearsals week i personally like this more, being teased with staging pictures but not giving everything away |
tonight eurovision welcomes the world carpet, opening ceremony highlights + comeback performance of Frankie Goes to Hollywood!! (i'm recording this for a bit later on tonight, first having to catch up with Expeditie Gooris and Chateau Meiland, my lush reality tv bit of fun)
tomorrow first semi |
