I'd like to see if they have the balls to tell Sikh or muslim officers to shave their beards :joker: and irrational beliefs are no more a valid reason to have a beard than the officer liking the way it looks.

I think most people would accept that some people wear beards as a part of their faith, even if they don't understand the idea of faith. It's not the same as growing a beard because it's trendy. I don't want to see police or soldiers with a hairy face.

in line with the scottish governments wish for people to easily self id, i expect a lot of police officers to identify as muslim etc from this point forward

Hope they realise that you can't wear a properly fitted respirator with a beard. I guess they'll find out eventually.

I hate beards full stop, especially horrid dry unkemp ones.
