French thriller wins Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or prize
[French murder mystery film
Anatomy of a Fall has taken the top prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Director Justine Triet won the Palme d'Or for her tense courtroom drama, which tells the story of a writer accused of her husband's murder. She becomes the third female director ever to win the prestigious prize, which was first awarded in 1955. Her thriller stars German actress Sandra Hüller, who also stars in the Cannes runner-up, The Zone of Interest. As she accepted the award, Triet slammed the French government over its response to recent pension protests. "These protests were... repressed in a shocking way," she said in her speech, after being presented with the award by Hollywood star Jane Fonda.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65736234 |

Nothing better than watching a Walter Presents series back to back. I love them all. |
Filling quotas.
Woman director winner. The public don't agree that this film is anything special. It only has a 7.3 on IMDB |

Unless it's scoring insanely low like a 2.6:joker: |

Rotten Tomatoes is the one you want to disregard. That's the snobs and they're all woke. Just look what score they gave Joker. They scored the remake of Ghostbusters higher than Joker. |
imdb is the standard RT is a joke site
