yes both Ajax and PSV in deep crisis, uncertainty who their new coaches will be

Fortuna Sittard is going for a all new coaching staff after Velazquez and his spanish assistents have left on mutual consent, no problems there, just they need someone calmer again, and also to rethink transfer strategies, since Burak Yilmaz was too big for this club, am happy he has left too somehow, no place for ego's here

in terms of play off winner, obviously hoping for NAC (another brabants team) but a debut of Almere City could also be fun maybe  (they were first called FC Omniworld but that is a theme park so they couldn't use that name anymore, also they aren't related to City Football Group)

Nicky91 04-06-2023 08:43 AM

promotion ticket is between

Almere City and FC Emmen (so either Almere will promote to eredivisie for first time ever or Emmen will stay in eredivisie)

Nicky91 07-06-2023 12:27 PM

whew Almere City, first match at home vs Emmen won with 2-0

now Emmen must score twice to pull off some extra time

very exciting this play off final

Nicky91 12-06-2023 07:23 AM

WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Almere City in the eredivisie :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

beating Emmen at home 2-0 and away 1-2

Nicky91 13-06-2023 08:02 AM

after bankruptcies of AGOVV Apeldoorn (whom currently exist today in a amateur form) RBC Roosendaal (also continuing in a amateur form) BV Veendam (no longer exist at all) as well as Haarlem (whom are now a amateur team, the Koninklijke HFC though their second city team are in second division as a semi-pro team for now)

Nicky91 20-06-2023 01:53 PM

Matthias Kohler is the new manager of FC Volendam, he replaces Wim Jonk whom got promotion into the role of sports director

Kohler formerly was head coach of AS Trencin, FC Basel, Ajax Cape Town, Ajax Under 17, German National Team (Under 19)

last season at Volendam he already was the assistent of Jonk

Nicky91 20-06-2023 01:55 PM

more speculation regarding who'll be the new Sparta manager

- Gregg Berhalter
- John Heitinga
- Sarina Wiegman (surprisingly is also named in the media, the former Dutch women's and current England women's manager)

Nicky91 22-06-2023 12:13 PM

Ruud Brood is the new manager of TOP/Oss, he replaces Klaas Wels who resigned last week

Brood was without a club since February 2022 after he got sacked at ADO Den Haag, he earlier was also the manager of Helmond Sport, Heracles Almelo, RKC Waalwijk, Roda JC, NEC Nijmegen, NAC Breda and he was assistent coach of Philipp Cocu at PSV for 3 years

Nicky91 23-06-2023 07:12 AM

Jan Vreman returns to De Graafschap as manager, he replaces Adrie Poldervaart whom has been very ill for quite some time

Vreman is a club icon for the team from Doetinchem, as a player he played 375 games for them, and already was manager from 2014 to 2016 for them, as well as twice as interim manager

Nicky91 26-06-2023 12:52 PM

not Ado den haag but FC Eindhoven is the new club for Willem Weijs, the 36 yr old worked earlier as a youth coach for PSV, Ajax, NAC Breda and was assistent manager of Willem II, Anderlecht, Lommel

so ADO have to keep searching for their new coach

Nicky91 03-07-2023 12:54 PM

Sparta finally has a new manager

Jeroen Rijsdijk is the replacement of Maurice Steijn (who signed with Ajax)

Rijsdijk gets help from former moroccan international Nourdin Boukhari and experienced coach Foeke Booy as his assistent coaches

--------------------------
Fortuna Sittard has signed Adrie Poldervaart as assistent manager for Danny Buijs, Poldervaart and Buijs have worked together for a long time at FC Groningen, Poldervaart resigned at De Graafschap last season after having coped with a rare muscle illness, he has since recovered and going to slowly more and more work on a full time basis in Sittard

Nicky91 26-07-2023 08:12 AM

am excited for the new season

Fortuna Sittard #SamenNaoVeure

finally got rid of lacklustre, unmotivated Cox, now only he says he hasn't been motivated enough for the last 2 years

belgian talented forward Milan Robberechts

algerian talented forward Mouhamed Belkheir

great dutch stand in goalie Luuk Koopmans

dutch field players we got are: Mitchell Dijks, Paul Gladon, Deroy Duarte, Oguzhan Ozyakub

the Greek Beast in central defence: Dimitrios Siovas :worship:

and our brazilian-german strong powerhouse in defence Rodrigo Guth

our captain with bags of experience in europe, portuguese Ivo Pinto (ex Porto, Dinamo Zagreb)

Nicky91 16-08-2023 01:50 PM

my teams vs Almere and Zwolle then, both home games too

from both i expect loads of offensive style of play now

Fortuna were super solid defensive wise vs Feyenoord away in Kuip, could've tried taking more risks against 10 man however playing it safe is also sometimes better when ur not a fave in a game like that so good choice in the end, super save Pandur as well as amazing moments from Siovas, Guth and Pinto :D

Twente keep on being super consistent under Oosting, proves to be a good choice as new manager, and we have some diamonds again in Manny Ugalde, Sem Steijn, Michel Vlap, the brothers Rots (Daan & Mats) and Ricky van Wolfswinkel as well as a supersolid goalie in Unnerstall

Nicky91 20-08-2023 07:41 AM

woop woop

get in

2-1 win over Almere

:cheer:

with stunning style of play to go with it :clap1:

once again 3 super saves from Pandur :worship: whom won us those 3 points, could've easily been a loss with a weaker goalie

first goal of newbie Rosier, superb match from him

also great match from Vita, Halilovic, Gladon, Noslin, Guth

LeatherTrumpet 20-08-2023 07:04 PM

my teams vs Almere and Zwolle

yes

Fortuna Sittard, small budget, managing to buy decent talents who have potential for nice careers

especially our goalie Pandur, i wish him a great career, hopefully also some appearances in croatia national team, although beating Livakovic is difficult

Rodrigo Guth also a good brazilian-german defender talent, loves to push forward with the ball, while Siovas using all of his strengths to prevent opponents from getting into any free spaces, as well as both having such advantages at corners, due to their tall height, same with Pandur also good at defending corners in easily grabbing the ball by jumping over the opponents forwards

as for Twente

Manfred Ugalde, Sem Steijn, Michel Vlap, Lars Unnerstall are their powerhouses

am following their european journey too, now thursday vs turkish giants Fenerbahce, first match in Istanbul

Nicky91 24-08-2023 08:26 AM

not many matches this weekend, most teams who are active in europe, get rest before their returns

my team Fortuna Sittard does play though, on saturday away vs Excelsior on 21:00 CET (20:00 UK Time)

and next match of ours is against Ajax at home

Nicky91 26-08-2023 12:48 PM

most who play european cup football have a day off this weekend

but others do play though

today we have

NEC - RKC Waalwijk

Excelsior - Fortuna Sittard

and tomorrow we have

PEC Zwolle - FC Utrecht

Feyenoord - Almere City

SC Heerenveen - Sparta

Nicky91 27-08-2023 07:31 AM

2-2 draw

missed opportunity to take the 1st position for a day of ours

but am happy with this point still, good start of ours

great equalizer of Belkheir's first goal in his debut match! long distance shot and Van Gassel (excelsior goalie) was sleeping or something :joker:

Nicky91 29-08-2023 08:07 AM

FC Utrecht have sacked their coach Michael Silberbauer after 3 losses without scoring any goals
