It's been a while. Wonder if this will be an improvement on Season 5 or if the show will continue on its downward trajectory. |

3 episodes in so far,
Episode 1 was meh, they have done simulation story lines, where the main character realises they are in a simulation, to death at this point. Episode 2 I kept focusing in and out of what was happening and wondering what it has to do with technology Episode 3 I actually really enjoyed, was hoping for a twist ending I didnt see coming which never came but I enjoyed the idea of the storyline. I watch the final episodes at the weekend |
What was the point in the werewolf episode, it went no where and since when were episodes not based in a possible reality.

Feel asleep during the final episode so had to rewatch the final 30 minutes. Was okay. I guess it was all in her head.
I’m sorry to be such a downer on this season but I just remember and time when black mirror was thought provoking. I guess when I don’t compare to other seasons the stories are enjoyable enough. |

I thought over all it was one of the poorest seasons. Joan is Awful was my favourite. Loch Henry was good enough although it didn't really feel like a Blank Mirror episode. Beyond the Sea was too long and after the action of the first section it just got really boring and depressing. I thought the second family would be targeted or that Josh hartnetts character would steal Jesse Pinkmans avatar and try to get vengeance for his family or something  Mazy Day, this one was crap, not black mirrory and a ****e horror Demon 79 This one was good, again not very Black Mirrory but It was really funny and I enjoyed it |

Then he turned up and was like the Boney M guy she fancied, she changed his appearance in his head. The final scene I think was just made up in her head, the demon reappeared and then she dreamed up the apocalypse. Also arent all the episodes in the same universe, and thats why there are all these Easter eggs with references to other episodes? If the apocalypse was real then how would that fit into the universe. The only argument I see for it being real is the demon telling her the future, how did she know the first guy she murdered had a little girl? could have been a good guess or some unconscious knowledge from living in a small town. |

Someone from the reddit sub suggested this ending for Beyond the sea and I think it would have been so much better than the one we got :
So David tries to ambush Cliff once Cliff re-enters the spaceship after the coolant check. Fails and a fight breaks out. It gets pretty hairy and they're both going all out. Cut to Lana back on earth. Going about her day as usual. Cut to back on the spaceship, the insides are a bloddy mess. Winner unclear. Ship goes dark and lights up again to show a link has been made to earth. Back on earth Cliff has returned. Comes out and smiles at Lana. Cut to black. We don't know which cliff. Open ending. https://www.reddit.com/r/blackmirror...eyond_the_sea/ |
i enjoyed the series as entertainment that i didn't need to deeply analyse

I had an alternate ending that made much more psychological sense TBH. There's no real reason that the Josh Hartnett character had snapped so far that he would kill Jesse's family - didn't like it and it didn't make sense. What WOULD make sense to me - especially as they mentioned earlier that they're "2 years into a 6 year mission" AND that "the replicas have to be synced at the start and can't be replaced..." Have it all be the exact same up until Jesse comes back in from the space walk and sees that Josh has his key fob. He goes to his bed thing, puts the key in - nothing happens. He tries over and over frantically... nothing. Cut to earth, Jesse's wife comes running out the house, the barn is on fire... she runs over and looks inside... there's Jesse's replica next to the painting, on fire, melting into nothing. (Josh has linked up and set himself on fire basically). Cut back to the ship, Jesse says "What did you do??", Josh is like "Maybe you'll appreciate them more in 4 years :)" and pulls out the chair for Jesse to sit down. Implication being... it's now just the two of them, for the next 4 years, alone with no contact with his family. If you want it to be more terrible, you could have Jesse ask Josh if he hurt his family (we as the audience would know that he didn't he just destroyed the replica) and Josh is like "Would you trust my answer to be the truth? Guess you'll find out in 4 years." They've also established that Jesse NEEDS Josh to run the ship so he can't kill him... they have to live and work together for the next 4 years for him to even find out if his family is alive. I genuinely think it's a worse fate than him knowing that they're dead :joker:. |
