I have blown my nose so much this week - Arcturus a new Covid strain

That the skin is all red, sore and flaking below my nostrils and i am having to
apply moisturizing cream there. I have also had no sense of smell or taste since
Tuesday.

The smallest boy LT arrived last Friday loaded with a cold, sneezing and
coughing. SO on Sunday night i started swallowing more and by Monday pm In
knew I had a cold. Iv had backache and a cough that has hurt my ribs, constant
sneezing and literally blowing my nose non-stop. Anyhoo it does seem better
today save the sinuses.

sick of it :oh:

Loads of Hay Fever
tablets in Every Store

Get some

How odd, i've been exactly the same all week. Wincing in pain every time i cough and sneeze now because my abdominal's are so sore.

I have the exact same symptoms as what you're describing, and it all started late Sunday night/Monday morning with me too, with a sore throat.

Gawd knows, just a cold, maybe the change in weather, sometimes effects people, but probably just picked it up somewhere.

Doubt it's the vid

There were quite a few coughing at the auction this week, me included. Could be a new strain :suspect:

Now's the time to get started on fluvoxamine, perhaps. A month's course should see you through and reduce the severity.
It's a very underrated drug that a lot of GPs don't even have much experience prescribing but it's time-tested and known to be good for all sorts of conditions, including Covid. It's a potent anti-inflammatory.

Typhoid Trumpet, coming on here, opening us all up to infection..... I'm putting my magic mask back on.

Lol. My masks have been gathering dust for the past month or two but any whiff of a new strain 'round these ends and it'll have to go back on. For real.

Redway 09-06-2023 01:45 PM

I've started sometimes wearing glasses again (mostly only when I need to but sometimes semi-regularly) and it's impossible to put the mask up your nose without inhalation-steam blowing up onto your spec's so that was the final push I needed to just allow the masks.

Get well soon treacle.

its all in the technique, you need to remove your glasses and push down on the wire at the top of the mask and then replace your glasses
