Crimson Dynamo 17-06-2023 08:16 AM

news tabloids only do fearmonger though, it are common facts

i wanna hear this more from actual weather presenters, you know those who have actual knowledge of the weather forecasts

oh, so those areas had no rainfall early this year then? like my nation had

nature here also has had a period of drought yes, but our weather presenters say that ground water level is back to normal standards thx to quite a wet spring

Panicking causes people to be stressed, stress is a killer in hot weather

Relax would be my advice, and if your area does have a hosepipe ban, there are other ways of watering your plants, with a watering can for example, and more from tap water then, rather than from the ground water

this is more a problem for farmers as those are likeliest to take water directly from the ground ;)

[A failure at a water supply plant
has left properties across West Sussex
with little or no water.
Southern Water said the outage followed
low levels of chlorine at its Hardham
water supply works.

The company said 20,000 customers were
affected and expected the number to grow
to 40,000 throughout Sunday.

Southern Water said three bottled water stations
had opened and deliveries would be made
to vulnerable customers.

A fleet of 19 tankers was supporting
hospitals and areas most in need
of supplies, the company said.]

Ban lifted in Kent and Sussex with immediate effect. Ironically, after the hottest June on record, it did nothing but rain in July which has continued into August here in Kent.
