Cyclist v driver - views?

Niamh. 07-07-2023 09:21 AM

I think the cyclist was a being a bit of a ****ing prick tbh, they were stopped in traffic, he wasn't driving, he was being a busy body. The driver went off on the insults though, he should have just ignored him

bots 07-07-2023 09:25 AM

i support the car driver  ****

Niamh. 07-07-2023 09:28 AM

Also the cyclist was cycling along and using his phone to film the guy in the car, what a hypocrite

ETA : Unless it was a mounted bike camera or something

He's not doing much for driver/cyclist road relations

bots 07-07-2023 09:42 AM

it's the fiat 500 lawnmower as well

MTVN 07-07-2023 09:55 AM

That cyclist does this to everyone, gets people banned from driving for looking at their phone while stationery. He's a massive tool tbh

Driver doesn't seem very pleasant either but is clearly a guy under strain

MTVN 07-07-2023 09:55 AM

That's Chelsea fans for you anyway

Pair of arseholes. The helmet cam guy is obviously doing it for views too, much like all of these sad "audits" types who go around filming / flying little drones about etc.

Then again they wouldn't be doing it if there weren't an even sadder bunch sat at home watching the videos.

Niamh. 07-07-2023 10:22 AM

This guy is a right gob****e

Jordan. 07-07-2023 10:41 AM

People that intentionally go around filming others for social media views will always be the biggest ***** in any scenario.

Cherie 07-07-2023 11:06 AM

I know this guys voice, he does this alot,

the guy in the car though, his BP must have been through the roof

Immediately stop what you're doing on the phone, give him no reaction whatsoever (ruin his online fun), call the police and tell them you're calling to report being harassed by a cyclist with a camera who seems to be trying to make online content and you feel unsafe. Say he's now ridden off and you just want the incident recorded - not to take it further.

If he does still report to the police, tell them that you were on the phone reporting the harrassment, you weren't using the phone previously, that he had been following the car and seemed to be trying to deliberately get a reaction for his online content.

Watch him try to deny it when he's got hundreds of videos with thousands of views online :hee:.

At the very least you'll introduce some plausible deniability AND perhaps make him think twice about his... err... "job".

I thought the driver was conducting himself with elegance and decorum, putting his defence across very respectfully, then his language took a turn for worse by bringing Chelsea into the argument. There was no need for that comment, appalling.

thesheriff443 07-07-2023 11:36 AM

Hopefully one day he films the wrong person and gets what he deserves

Swan 07-07-2023 11:42 AM

The irony is, the driver sounds just like the average Chelsea fan :joker:

The way the Cyclist read out the number plate as well. All done with glee, you just know it was making his nipples hard.

Yeah im with the cyclists on this one. I understand the driver being frustrated, but as you say it's just one of those things.

True ..

Oddly most cyclists ride on the damn pavement around here ( Gtr Manchester) so they’re not really a problem..unless you’re walking

And what are those that intentionally go around filming people ballroom dancing for views?

Or those that intentionally go around filming two rich Geordie lads doing a game show for views?

People voted to be filmed in public constantly when they voted in the political parties that want cctv installed everywhere.
