I think everyone would be standing together in small groups or sat in pairs chatting happily, whilst I'm propping up the bar ear wigging alone, randomly shouting things at your conversations.

i remember the famous Camden 10 when a new person joined the firm. 10 pubs in Camden in the space of just 1 mile. A drink in each, By the time we hit the Dublin castle that person was one of the family!

You know how it is. I ain’t going to let it drop. Not the pint glass (notwithstanding an incident with a half-Fosters earlier this week) and not the grudges. But I don’t do jukeboxes.

To be honest it’s rare that I’m in a big group at t’pub (sometimes I am in bars but that’s just a little different). People who are more socially introverted/reserved don’t normally mind sitting and drinking on their own but count me in the TiBB pub squad. Just don’t expect me to carry parmnion and Jordan into the taxi on the way home.

Count me in the piss-up gang, still. I’m game. Especially if Livia’s paying. (A guy can dream.)
