Being the worst Piers and the worst Corbyn is quite an accomplishment.

I agree with Paying Cash

Crimson Dynamo 31-07-2023 09:22 AM

He is channelling any Scot in England trying to use a Scottish £10 note

The reputation of Scots paying with fake notes precedes them unfortunately

Sorry but I think ANY business providing a service to the UK public.
Should by law be forced to take payment in cash.
For as long as cash is legal tender, it should be illegal for a business to refuse to do so.
They shouldn't be in business in the first place unless they do.
In my view.

A lot of sports stadiums now are becoming totally cashless

I was at Edgbaston this year and it was card only, £7.20 a pint or something like that. But there was one chap on the bar who said to us quietly - 'its cheaper with cash you know'. £20 taken for 5 pints and shoved straight in his pocket. Which is probably part of the reason these places would rather not bother with it

He’s the definition of brain rot, it’s like Facebook forced itself into a human

its a simple fact that they need less staff and can process purchases much faster with no cash payments. People can choose to see it as a large conspiracy, i prefer to see it as progress

How does anyone pay? Surely about 97% of the people there are strictly cash-in-hand-only painters, plasterers and landscape gardeners?
