West Yorkshire :Bakery Vs Catherine Tyldesley : row over free cakes.
https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2023/08...1016587026.jpg Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley asked the Three Little Birds Bakery to do her cakes for free. [Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley has hit back at a bakery after an "utterly bizarre" row over free cakes. Three Little Birds Bakery said it received a request from an events agency to make a cake and 100 cupcakes for the birthday of an unidentified "well-known" celebrity - later revealed to be Tyldesley - in exchange for promotion on social media and in OK! magazine. The bakery, in Keighley, West Yorkshire, responded to the request by declining the offer, with owner Rebecca Severs saying her staff "can't feed their kids with exposure on Instagram".] No you Stupid Catherine they need Cash for a Cake order of that size. Yes Reporters will be knocking on your door They know you have kids. They do not need to talk to your kids Catherine https://news.sky.com/story/catherine...snt-sf-twitter https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...aker-paid.html |
Well fair dues, they got plenty good publicity and didn't need to give out free cakes
They then requested one birthday cake with the theme 'camp as tits', as well as 100 cupcakes. When did breasts become camp....oh wait |
Some silly pr exec thinking they understand anything about a small business
|
The bakery does sound a bit up itself tbh
Bet they charge £4 for a sausage roll and a fiver for a small slice of cake |

Hand Made Food is better at a independent small bakery This is not the Bakery at fault. Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley is 100% at fault. She needs to go Public and say sorry on TV news. Or the press will keep asking her to make a Full Proper Apology. This Bakery did not name her the Clever Press Dug her out |

Two things can be true at once, people who ask for actual services in return for some words online, are annoying and conceited, but that bakery woman very clearly wanted the attention she got by talking about the whole situation, very easily could have kept it to herself and carried on with her day

A Large Order of "Free" Cakes,
Slick Liam Is too much to ask for. |
i think its quite funny that the bakery have succeeded in getting far more publicity than they would from some z lister on social media. Smart business move

Referring to the bakery owner as the 'cake lady' is incredibly patronising |
