Apple New iPhone Not Selling India and Asia

Apple stocks are hit
as the new iPhone is staying on shop shelves.

In India many use the phone before
as the Massive cost for a newer version
is overpriced, for those millions of people

Tech innovation with smartphones is plateauing... they can't make the screens much better (limitations of human eyeballs, lol), they can't make them much faster for the sorts of tasks they're needed for, they can't start making them bigger or smaller because people know what they like and edge-to-edge screen real estate has been a thing for ages now... there's simply nothing for them to be "better at". Even the camera quality has more or less maxed out - so they try adding new features like AI but really those are just software features.

There's been an attempt at foldable phones etc. but frankly they're just gimmicky.

So basically ... phones have kinda peaked. There's not much incentive to spend £1000+ (or £75 a month) on a phone when it doesn't actually do more than one you can pick up for £300, or far less if willing to go 2nd hand, or just stick with the same phone for longer.

I only bothered upgrading last time because I had an actual crack on the screen. Other than that, the new one... once in a phone case... you wouldn't even know it's a different phone .

they do it with smaller incremental changes. Better battery, better camera, brighter screen, but there is next to no wow factor anymore. The money is in subscription services for apple now. They will be running into the same issue with their computers as the latest chips are already amazingly powerful. There's nowhere much to go to

I have a relatively cheap Android phone which cost me £100 in 2020.

Does me.
