What do you usually do on a Sunday?
We had a barbecue. Excellent food and company.
But now I'm stuffed :joker: The weather is nice today here in Italy. Usually I never get to do anything on a Sunday, because I work. But I'm on holiday now  |
I don't like Sundays.
Put them in Room 101. |
Iv worked and watched football

I had to do a night shift last night and I didn’t start sleeping until after 1 so it very-much has been a lazy Sunday.
Sundays are just Sundays, I suppose. I do most of the usual stuff but then as the afternoon goes on it’s just boredom. It’s not always dread because there actually are one or two good things about Monday (decent TV for one thing) but yeah. Sundays and Wednesdays are so-so days to me. |

I like the habit of drinking a cup of Joe or chamomile with a few oat biscuits to dunk on a Sunday morning while I watch Songs of Praise and hope for the best from there (on a normal schedule-free Sunday) but come 3 pm nothing feels good and I just want to skip through to Wednesday so that I can then be okay mood-wise and count down to the sweeter part of the week. Which for me is Wednesday evening to very early Sunday afternoon. A lot of people have an overly go-getting attitude to every day of the week and that’s fine but I like it when people like that do their thing in their own corner rather than imposing a love of Mondays onto everyone and making you feel misunderstood by people who just don’t get you or identify with your needs, wants and preferences (and that can be family as well as anyone else). |
I do love a good Tuesday though (which obviously isn’t every Tuesday). No-one gets married on a Sunday but Tuesday evening weddings are a thing and can hit all the right notes. I think that says it all.
