No Current Prostate Cancer Test on the UK NHS

[There's currently no national screening
programme for prostate cancer in the UK because
the PSA test is not always accurate.
Before deciding to have the PSA test,
you may want to talk to a GP and practice nurse,
as well as your partner or a friend or family member.
You have a higher risk of prostate cancer if you:
• have a family history of prostate cancer
• are of black ethnic origin
• are overweight or obese]

Above From NHS Site

Nick Owen went on BBC1 AM early in the week
saying everyone (Men) should get tested
His GP helped him more than other GPs.

Nick did the test
but then got a Expensive MRI

Nick said catch it Early
Bollocks the NHS says NO

Men should be screened every year or so, the same as women are for cancers.
PSA blood tests are simple enough to do.
Nothing is fool proof but everything that can be done should be done.
My dad had prostate cancer for a good ten years before he died, fortunately he was caught early enough, an operation and then hormone injections for life kept it at bay.
He didn’t die of it.

Yes,
but they are not doing the Blood test.

Unless you are a Famous Presenter
getting a MRI
with the GP ordering it
