Carole suspicious of \"familiar\" \'Pauline\'
 

An apprehensive Carole appeared to be the first housemate to guess that 'Pauline' is a fake, after she told Tracey of her suspicions this evening.

The housemates were all keen to get to know the new arrival, but Carole's questions had a suspicious tone as she tried to catch actress Thaila Zucchi out.

Carole asked her what airline she flew on, but Thalia's quick reply of 'Qantas' gave little away.

Later on, she asked: "New people who come in to Australian Big Brother are called 'intruders', aren't they?"

'Pauline' appeared to be ruffled by Carole's questions, so she headed for the garden to talk to the twins.

Some time later, Carole said to Tracey: "She looks ever so familiar to me. I've seen her somewhere before, I'm sure I have. I'm not thoroughly convinced. She could be an Australian living in London."

Tracey was not immediately persuaded, so Carole explained her theory in greater detail: "If they don't want her to remain, the public can vote her out. If it does work, she can stay."

"So you think there's more to this than meets the eye?" asked Tracey.

"I do . Call me old and sceptical."

"You're old and sceptical!" replied Tracey.
