Ziggy damn if I do damned if I dont
 

I am no fan of ziggy, but are people happy now that he pretty much dumped chanelle? Because as far as what I have read here, everyone wanted him to end it already the past few weeks. But now that he has, I read people saying he is wrong for dong that. Was he setup from the time he walked in the house as the first guy, to fail no matter what? Because he would have been called a loser for not dating one of the girls. That task he got first by dating everyone, was basically saying, your task is to pick one of the girls in the house. And when he did, it was fake straight away.
I feel bad for him frankly...

i dont feel sorry for him, .. he zoned in on Chanelle from day 1 thinking it would increase his chances of staying longer. now its gone sour, and he's floundering.

Wouldnt any other guy have done the same thing from day one? Walking in a house with only girls, and you being the first guy, it seems like an assignement to hook up with one of them. Why not Chanelle. When he first came in, the messages were all, which girl is Ziggy gonna hook up with. So we all expected it I think?

No. Just because Zippy fell into the trap it doesn't mean other people would. I considered it quite pathetic the way he latched onto Chanelle and started bitching about the rest of the girls in his first week.

He can be OK sometimes, but he's a bit of an idiot most of the time, in my opinion.

I was opened this thread to defend ziggy, but from what I can see, it seems that breakup was not definite. If he gets back together with her again, I lost all respect.

I have always thought that Ziggy couldn't do anything right and in his situation I also think alot of other guys wouldn't know what to do. They are attracted to Chanelle but the fact she acts like a child is very off putting more so because he is an older housemate. I can't believe that people think he made a play for her when within hours she was wearing his t shirt and not alot more! Ziggy can't win either way...if he ends things he is the bad guy and if he stays with her again he is the bad guy. I do think he is a bit of a mug though for falling for her antics time and time again.

If he talks to Charley he gets daggers in his back from Chanelle. If he acts out a play and happens to touch Charley playing a part he is in her bad books once again. He should be able to speak to whom he likes without having to worry what Chanelle will do next to make him look the baddie. I think he is very attracted to Chanelle when she is actually being mature but as soon as she throws a strop he is reminded of how childish & difficult she is even though she is 19 and shouldn't act in that way.

It would be interesting to ask other guys on this forum what they would do in that very situation to see what people say.
