Hello, TIBB! What a beautiful day!

It's 28 degrees here in London.
Are you enjoying the heatwave?
What plans do you have?
I'm off to Brighton tomorrow!

Hope it's hot tomorrow, it says it is. I'm going to the historical City of York for the day.

I shall be visiting the Minister. The spot where Constantine was proclaimed Roman Emperor. A walk around the walls. A visit to the Railway museum and I shall have a wonder down the Shambles.

Hopefully find a pub that does a nice roast dinner.

Nope. Not a fan of heat. I was looking forward to autumn on its way. So I'm wishing it would sod off this heatwave.

Yeah my neck and arms got burnt for sure. Not too bad, but felt the sting in the shower earlier.

Good stuff. Thanks.

Vanessa 04-09-2023 08:55 PM

It's still warm, but much more comfortable.

Swan 04-09-2023 09:00 PM

Yeah it's gorgeous out now, been sat in my front garden with just a pair of shorts, slight breeze, so lovely.

Morning.

Up and ready to go to York.

AnnieK 05-09-2023 05:57 AM

Have a good time Alf. I love York

Alf 05-09-2023 07:07 AM

Almost there. Just in Pocklington. Shoul arrive in York in about 40 minutes. I've gone on bus. £2 all the way from Hull to York, a bargain.

Thanks Annie. I'm sure I will. The sun is shining.

York won't have had anyone like me conquer it since the Romans and vikings.
