I love the show.

Its on German TV and in German Smudgie

RTL currently do things better than most british channels, also better than my own nation i have to admit


am also amazed at 3 60+ contestants willing to go through this mentally tough psychological mind**** what this show is, which is 10000% more extreme than The Mole for example

most of this cast are pretty much well known faces


Ulrike is a household name on daily television, at the RTL Aktuell News, where she is a regular for the sports news (only not in the weekend, and couple weeks in the summer when most regulars are on holidays)

Irina is like the first Princess Charming of RTL+ and she's one of germany's top lawyers


Sebastian is one of the German Chasers/Quizzers from their version Gefragt, Gejagt

Susan Sideropoulos is a A-Lister soapstar, in GZSZ big role

Friedrich Liechtenstein is one of their national treasures, whom basically done it all

reality tv, starred in films, released 6 music albums, released 5 books


Anna-Carina is 8th place finalist of DSDS, now a popular schlager star, signed with Ich Find Schlager Toll label

Vincent is a Swiss schlager pop singer, been at some of the Silvesterparty new years eve shows more recently

Pascal is a world champion handball & lets dance champion

Florian starred in more than 100 films and series in germany, a career since 1977

No one gives a rats ass about what content is on German tv

well they move into the castle this wednesday yes, but it starts next wednesday on the 20th

so they have enough material to show on episode 1 of highlights footage

so far two episodes in


pretty much very decent



one of the traitors however



couple of tasks are indeed similar to the dutch original version but well executed tasks anyway by their RTL production team


it's a fun group too


Ulrike immediately upon arriving at the castle, hugging handball world champ Pascal Hens (because as a sports journalist she knows him already quite well and she was at their victory ceremony in 2007 when they won the world cup)


Vincent is a cutie, also the pretty boy of the group :D


Claude-Oliver is so funny, how he acts like a ''godfather'' of the castle, with sunglasses and everything :laugh:

the friendship between fellow schlager stars Anna-Carina and Vincent Gross we stan

the tasks are similar to my nations version yes, but executed quite well

Claude-Oliver is a true meme for sure, such a superb tv quality material, no one is voting for him at the table, but he is a nice decoy traitor :fan:

viewer ratings wise, hmm not wow, but a stable amount of 1.3 million all these weeks basically, not bad i guess


reviews are also kinda mixed


praise for the presenter Sonja ofc, praise for the mystery vibe in the concept, psychological gameplay in the castle

although some viewers complain about knowing who the traitors are, but tbh this is a whole new concept for them, so if i were RTL i wouldn't give up on this too soon



next series i want Rene Casselly, with his cousin Ramon Roselly too, and make one of them a traitor pls, that'll be fun


Mathias Mester also a nice one maybe for this too


Ilka Bessin is a MUST go for next series, she's the queen of comedy!


Hardy Kruger Jr because he couldn't do lets dance last year due to covid, prevented him from even doing one solo dance (anniversary of asterix too in light of that would be fun)
