The scientists have done all the testing, and their conclusion is that they are not of human origin, but it's still a life form that has been mummified. We don't have the capability as a species to create new life, as we don't even understand how our own abiogenesis happened.

I suppose it's possible that DNA was not the only origin of life, but there is no evidence of it so far.

If it is genuine, then it might start a domino effect of other governments providing their own samples.
