Have you ever?

Have you ever watched all 3 Godfather movies in the same day?

Or to expand on that. Have you ever watched all 3 of any movie trilogy in the same day?

I've done the Godfather's (more than once, quite a few times). Lord of the rings. Dark Knight and Back to the future's. All in one day

I am a binge movie watcher. So I will go a while without watching a movie but then spend a full day or days watching.

I'm not someone who will watch just because it's present and everyone else is watching. I can't just watch any movie. It has to be good. When you've seen the greatest movies ever made then you can no longer do mediocre.

If I jump into watching Hitchcock or Kubrick or Spielberg or Scorsese or Nolan or any of the great directors. I will binge watch loads of their movies one after the other.

When I was self employed I could do this regularly. My current job makes this a bit more difficult.

There's nothing like a bank holiday weekend of locking yourself away and binge watching great movies for 4 or 5 days.

I've done both godfather movies. Heard they were making a 3rd but it never materialised.

It was impossible for Godfather part 3 to match the first 2. Especially being made 16 years later. But I like part 3. It's not as bad as people say. It's still a great film. It's just that the first two are the 2 greatest films ever.

I watched A Bugz Life and Antz on the same day and now I still get confused about the scenes ..

A couple of weekends ago, we watched 1 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and 3 on Monday. Never seen them before... brilliant series.

I've never even seen the 3rd one

Nah I like a long film but always feel a bit wiped after watching one and need a break from the screen, couldn't just stare at the telly for 9 hours straight

bots 15-09-2023 11:22 AM

i can watch a TV series all day, because that provides natural breaks every 45-60mins. I would never watch films all day

It's an ok film. Agree about the godfathers; I have the deer hunter alongside them.

I've heard that if you watch all three Godfather movies in a day, your testosterone levels will soar to such unimaginable levels that your balls will simply explode. I can't say I've been willing to risk it :worry:

Not movies but I've done the mini series band of brothers at least thrice, shameless as well.
