Publicly - and privately - there are many in the Conservative Party who think the pendulum has swung too far under Rishi Sunak, and want a more coherent plan for growth. The messenger may be questionable, but her message itself will resonate with some.

Seriously the Tories need to just admit that they are genuinely incompetent, and not just palming all of the issues onto whoever the PM is at any given time.

And I never thought that I would defend "I've never had a working class friend" Sunak, but the issues with this party were there before him, and they'll be there after him unless the party bothers to fix their problems.
