Temu. Anyone shopped with them?

I've seen some nice things on the Temu site, but I've never shopped with them before. Anyone had any experience?

smallest boy uses them with no issue. stuff comes from China so takes a bit longer

Glenn. 19-09-2023 11:35 AM

All the time. Just had a delivery today and another due tomorrow.

Oliver_W 19-09-2023 01:15 PM

Yeah, bits and pieces.

Niamh. 19-09-2023 01:23 PM

I was curious about them too, seen a few ads pop up

Glenn. 19-09-2023 02:09 PM

I was pretty sceptical but everything I’ve ordered alright and delivery is quite quick considering how far away it is.

Kate! 19-09-2023 02:19 PM

OK that's good then. They are good value for money. I'll order.

Vanessa 19-09-2023 02:41 PM

They have a mini printer I'm interested in buying.

They are really cheap aren't they. And free postage.

What type of Business are they?

Bit like a smaller scale ebay or Amazon, sell allsorts of stuff.

I'm getting....

A jacket
A purse
A spare pair of boots (bought one pair recently)
Some socks

All for 24 quid.

rusticgal 19-09-2023 10:59 PM

Dodgy sites….don’t use them.

user104658 19-09-2023 11:56 PM

Sooo, there have been reports of incidences of stolen card details with Temu etc. (my wife had a dodgy transaction after using them, but the bank caught and declined it).

That doesn't mean don't use them BUT, personally, I would recommend using a one-use disposable virtual card. Much safer as there's no risk with card details being cloned (as the card ceases to exist as soon as you use it). Revolut or Monzo or whatever.

That sounds cool.

I think that Amazon has been needing a worthy competitor.

So my order arrived from Temu yesterday, and everything was great. Jacket fitted perfectly as did the boots. Also got a couple of items for Karl. Less than 25 quid all in. No postage costs.

I'm definitely ordering again this coming week.

Glenn. 29-09-2023 08:26 PM

I’ve ordered loads of Temu over the last couple of days. It’s a bit addictive

It’s quite funny actually - I work in A&E and lots of admin staff rave about Temu. Like, full on rave and get excited about the stuff they’ve bought. Yet by the sounds of it, most of it comes ‘not as advertised’ lol

I've just received my 2nd order from them and everything was yet again perfect. I can't fault them at all. I'll do some Christmas shopping from them next month.

Yes and they accept returns no problem my only gripe is everythng is size 12/14 and i want size 12 so things tend to be too big for me its annoying.

I get plus size. I'm a 22. Got a jacket and some tops so far and their perfect. I haven't seen much in the smaller sizes. Have you tried Shein?
