Seems a bit much.

I mean, we did have 18 housemates in CBB19 and that was 32 days. And BB Australia’s 12th series had 20 housemates over 39 days.

So 16 housemates over a 6 week period doesn’t seem too bad. Then again, BB19 had 16 housemates over a 7 week period.

1 or 2 will likely drop out, happens every year.

Every season probably has at least one substitute.

I like the sound of that. It gives it a winner takes all vibe, with a strong hint of it actually being a game show and not a platform to other things.

I'm expecting lots of game playing.

I feel its going to be more like a gameshow format. There will be cruel twists such as all the housemates facing each other and voting to evict someone on the spot. Someone will be evicted within the first few days I bet.

Tbh this was more a CH4 thing and Ch5 only started doing it in the second half of their tenure I dont think they had intruders in the first 3 or 4 years

For a 6 week series 10-12 would be ideal
