Which HMs do you think "don't understand that certain things are unacceptable"
Quoting from another thread:

Could be one of the Welshies? If they were raised in a homogeneous environment of an isolated village, they could have been around casual racism? |
it would depend on who you think is the arbiter of what is acceptable
extreme people on X ? |
According to social media the scouse lad has a touch of the phobics to him
|
i think there are quite a few of them in there that are likely to have "alternative" views. That's one of the reasons i think it's a good cast

Olivia and her foul mouth will get her into trouble
She was shouting last night like she was in a park with a group of morons that are well known to the local police |

He wouldn't even have the "excuse" of his background, he just seems like a normalish bloke from a big city, so if the social media reporting is accurate, he's not the product of a sheltered or religious upbringing, he's just a bigot. |

Think this is just standard EDI speak really rather than being targeted at anyone specific

Henry so far is giving future regular commenter on GB News that they bring on to attack trans people or Meghan Markle or whatever they are crying about today
He may surprise us and turn out to be alright though |

I think the elderly essex lady who is high up in the NHS organisation departments might show some casual racism by inadvertently thinking yinrun is beneath her.

My thread was more about HMs who might have grown up in an environment which leads them to not how being an istaphobe isn't acceptable, rather than not liking a group of people due to bigotry. If what people are saying about Paul is true, being a young chap in a city, he'd have no excuse. But if Whatshisface grew up in an isolated village where everybody is quarter-sheep, he might have grown up around racists, and not know it's bad in the same way most people do. If Farida had grown up a strict muslim, she might not realise homophobia isn't accepted. But neither seems to be the case. |
