The Right Wing Henry and the Left Wing Trish getting on like a house on fire!

In the HL show, and on tonight's live feed. It's genuinely refreshing to see that just because people might have a different background and political outlook they can still get along, bond, and have a good laugh with each other.

We need more of this in serious debates.

That's how it should be inside the house, they should put politics to the side.

They should just agree to disagree in a healthy discussion.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 09-10-2023 11:21 PM

It's great to see but let's see what happens once they start having real discussions. Haha

Couldn't agree more.

I honestly think Henry will cower in a corner and ask Trish to forgive him , i can't see him participating in a full discussion. Even in the HL show... you could tell he didn't want to talk about politics and instead he laughed it off.

I don’t think Henry is even interested in politics .. he turned most people off by saying he’d like to go for a drink with Boris but he’s since said he’d vote for anyone if he thought they’d be good to go for a drink with ..

Yeah but it's obvious his views are more right wing, plus he's a big royalist.

Yeah it was good to see for sure. But i don’t understand why Trish was giving him a hard time about it, obviously in a joke non-serious way, like being more left leaning is somehow superior.. probably just depends on the person i supose.. Henry could have sat there and been like “oh you’re a lefty, eww, oh nooo! haha ha” but he’s a good guy, i’m liking him alot

OnTheRight 10-10-2023 03:15 AM

Loving Henry. :)

….ahhhhhh, but, but, but….have they had some depth of conversation about anything political, though…that’s something that generally evolves and may or may not with their time in the house because there are so many other aspects and distractions etc…serious debates is specifically for debates and to get directly to the point, as it were…its life in the fast lane as Arista would say…many connections in life don’t ever discuss political beliefs and don’t even think of themselves in terms of left/right etc…there are so many layers of connection…

Yeah I agree, plus Trish is actually genuinely interested and passionate about politics whereas I don't think Henry actually cares very much and just said that stuff in the VT to play up to his posh boy image

They should discuss the Tory plan to send asylum seekers to "safe" Rwanda, given that Congo and Rwanda are pretty much at war.

Crimson Dynamo 10-10-2023 07:50 AM

her nasty side will emerge the minute politics comes up properly

Nothing wrong with that imo, people should be able to have opposite opinions and still remain friends otherwise it's a power thing of I'm right and your not.:wavey:

People make a big deal about the royals but don’t realise that you could end the monarchy tomorrow but they would not only keep all the property and money but would continue to live the way they do and the hundreds of millions they make would be all theirs

Plus they wouldn’t have to get out of bed to meet strangers every day

Niamh. 10-10-2023 09:04 AM

I'm starting to lean into that whole group - Henry, Jordan, Trish and Yinrun

Vanessa 10-10-2023 09:07 AM

Yes, I love that they got on so well.

Oliver_W 10-10-2023 09:51 AM

Only weirdos fall out with people over which politicians or parties they support.
