Kerry winding Farida up about the shopping budget

Kerry you little sly dog. You knew what you was doing with that suggestion. You knew Farida would kick off because she is specific in her religion and that she needs Halal food.
All the housemates should have an input with the shopping budget.
Hats off to Kerry trying to stir the pot through

I'd like Kerry out.

Benjamin 12-10-2023 09:04 AM

Same, her or Zak need to go.

Niamh. 12-10-2023 09:20 AM

Yeah, Farida did make a deal about the special foods she has etc on Day one so Kerry must have known Farida wouldn't like it, certainly trying to manipulate things to make Farida look mean and selfish

You need the wind up merchants to keep things from getting boring
Get the boring planks out first

bots 12-10-2023 09:22 AM

i think there is a lot more fun and games to come from Farida and Kerry so I would keep them and get shot of the trio of lads that aren't bringing anything to the table

Ammi 12-10-2023 09:33 AM

…I hope that Farida gets control of the shopping list and orders only pot noodles by the dozens…see how they like them apples….

I think they're two sides of the same coin. They both have that thing going on where they think they have awareness of how the show will be portrayed that ends up circling around to complete lack of self awareness. Trying to rock the fair-and-balanced matriarchal gimmick but it just comes off as needlessly involving yourself in house politics, creating them so you can be seen to step in and resolve them.

…it would have been nice to see the two older ladies bond in a friendship but it seems more gauntlets thrown atm…

Kerry clearly came up with that idea for the bottom team to have first dibs on the shopping list just to wind up Farida, it was so obvious. Seems like she really has it in for her, lots of passive aggressive comments under her breath about Farida on the live feed last night too.

Kerry is soooo annoying. She tries way too hard to look selfless and do "good things" but it's so obviously fake. And the worst part is Farida was in the right lol.

I completely agree with this. I think they are similar in how they are inter-acting and the reason they are rubbing each other up the wrong way is because they are not happy someone else is trying to assume the same role.

Olivia was my first least favourite housemate. She has very swiftly been replaced by Kerry, I dislike Kerry far far more.
I think Farida was absolutely correct when she called her conniving. I imagine Kerry as an office job type stirrer. She goes around saying/doing something that she knows will provoke a reaction with someone she dislikes, then goes around privately to other people behind the other person's back, turning on the waterworks and feigning innocence and an 'I was just trying to be nice/helpful' spiel when the person she provoked gets annoyed. Actively trying to turn others against the person.

Thankfully, Farida seems to have met her type before and I believe dealt with her well. She didn't start shouting/get angry which in my opinion is the reaction Kerry wanted. Instead she stood up for herself but still spoke calmly and assertively.

Unfortunately I can see more of the housemates taking Kerry's side because of her crying and fake trying to be nice crap.

I get the impression that Farida doesn't ever lose her temper in that way actually so Kerry is fighting a losing battle if that's the outcome she was hoping for

I think so too. Farida seems very good at expressing herself well, and not rising to the very obvious provoking tactics of Kerry. Someone else might have a very different reaction.

Yes, if it was reversed for example I could definitely see Kerry flipping out and screaming the place down

…I didn’t realise that Kerry was one of the Adele’s, I hadn’t recognised her…

….she must have had a very difficult journey herself losing much of her mobility with MS, so I do feel for her as well because so much in her life over the last few years has been about adjustments and maybe she’s struggling quite a bit…

…hey Pink Pegasus btw, it’s lovely to see you…back to the old days of scrutiny are us, eh….

…yeah, Abra….if you look around 2:24 on the vid, that’s the Adele, Kerry is…(…it’s like a quiz title, Which Adele Are You…?…

Liam- 12-10-2023 04:21 PM

I don’t think she did it purposefully to upset Farida at all, I think she was just genuinely suggesting it as a nice thing for the ‘bottoms’ to get
