Don’t like the manufactured crowd
It’s completely pointless them being there if they have to cheer everyone and react in certain ways to events. Both Farida and Kerry would 100% have been booed and there’s no way the crowd would be reacting with “aww” to Kerry having a fake breakdown because she had to nominate. It also just gives a false sense of justification to people like Farida who act pretty ****ty in the house but then come out to such a great (fake) reception. Plus one of the most fun parts of the live shows was always seeing how the crowd would react to certain housemates so you could get a feel for how the public are thinking.
Liking the show overall but this is one change that is really bad |
I sort of quite liked it because Kerry is going to think she’s adored by the public getting cheers and beating Farida. She’ll be delusional.

Same. I need to hear boos!!!!!

yeah not a fan.. the boos were part of the game

I think ppl booed too much on channel 5 era but this is too far the other way
A balance is needed |
I 100% agree

Yeah they look like rent-a-kind-crowd. Not really real people. Just paid for 'we'll be very nice' peeps.
I accidentally saw the 65th birthday of Blue Peter on TV yesterday and they had kids on that. All of them look like they'd be drafted from rent-a-happy-jolly-kid inc. I guess it's safer to do it that way. The kids don't look bored like they used to do when they used real schoolkids. That was back in the 1970s and 1980s kids TV shows you can see on YouTube. :joker: |
...................imagine? having to cheer farida's ridiculous exit.......................

It's a real crowd. But they've been told not to boo.

Hopefully someone over at Endemol/Banijay who has sway on the show reads these boards and can take the feedback back to the show and make the changes.

It's because there's a section of society that get really upset at negativity being portrayed on TV, it's why TV across the board is so poor nowadays.
Don't get me wrong I don't want anyone on Reality TV to be harshly treated, but if the public don't like someone, then it should be allowed to be expressed in a respectful manner. Granted I haven't been watching this BB, but with the way society is going, it doesn't surprise me that the crowd has been told to go a lot more tame in their reactions. |
