Thoughts on the series so far?
 

For some reason it doesn't stand out to me
The house, great. Housemates, diverse. But it just feels like a continuation of the Channel 5 iteration. It doesn't really feel new or fresh to me.

I was brought up on Dr Who, watching my dad's old VHS tapes - the 1970s period. I never got into the new Dr Who, 2005 onward.

The return was Doctor Who in name only. Gone was what made the original run GREAT.

So what I am getting at is, 'if it's not broken, don't fix it.'

That's why I am lovin' the 2023 BB. New but old. ;) :hee:

How would you make it new or fresh?

Change it up a bit, that's exactly what BB19 did and it felt like a breath of fresh air. I'd like it if they took ideas from other BBs, especially Channel 10/9 BBAU series. Things like giving housemates 3 nomination points instead of 2, Big Brother Uncut (or Diary Room Uncut) on saturdays. Or maybe Friday Night Live (on a saturday). Doesn't even have to be for a nominations superpower, just for rewards.

I must disagree. The cast feel very C4, albeit late C4. It seems to be a balance of the two, but I must say to improve they need to cut out the C5 crap such as being soft and the eviction countdowns. Also get rid of the LI music
