Yinrun voting Hallie but not Olivia

Her reasons being due to the nomination breach, but if that made her paranoid why not Olivia as well, I think she considers Hallie one of her main threats to winning due to her story?

Thoughts,

also Kerry is making a bit of a comeback I think her normal self is starting to come through and she has toned down the over reactions, I don't mind Kerry now

GoldHeart 26-10-2023 10:30 AM

I don't think Yinrun see's Hallie as a threat, I think everyone is tired of her childish behaviour. Yeah Yinrun mostly said the reason was " rule breaking", but maybe she is more fed up of Hallie than Olivia.

Hallie is the one who's annoyed more people in the house, Yinrun probably feels she's causing too much negativity.

I think she had perfectly valid reasons to also nominate Kerry.

BBDodge 26-10-2023 10:44 AM

Olivia had been doing Yinrun's hair just before noms.

A bit of grooming is a well-known peace-making behaviour in primates.

Niamh. 26-10-2023 10:46 AM

Olivia seems fun and well liked in there, Hallie comes across as tantrum-y and grumpy a lot. Also, it was Hallie writing the messages, Olivia was just receiving them I suppose

If I recall rightly it’s Hallie that caused all the trouble with the rule break and had the drama with Noky and Zak. Olivia was basically just present for it.

Yep.

Ammi 26-10-2023 11:17 AM

…actually now in thinking about it, the punishments for Olivia and Hallie shouldn’t have been the same either because Olivia wasn’t a part of it…other than trying to work out the ‘code’ that was being written on her back…she didn’t play any equal part…

I mean the whole thing was Olivia idea, but whatever.

Starscream 26-10-2023 11:19 AM

Yinrun and Olivia do yoga together.

yes she was the instigator

people are just not getting it. It doesn't matter if one person was more responsible than another. It's all about whether you are liked or not by the person nominating. If they don't like you, you will get a nomination

The secret message was a rule break, even if it was about toilet seats.

Yeah don't forget BB doesn't allow any type of messages or codes . The only time they were allowed to write....was when they use to have the chalkboard for shopping, and tbh I'm surprised nobody tried to write secret messages on the chalkboard....that we know of.

Maybe that's another reason they have an iPad for the shopping list now , aswell as being modern lol .

…rather than allowing them to continue, maybe a …’housemates are reminded no writing etc…’…over the speakers…it’s as if they wanted to introduce the prison in the garden but didn’t intend any punishment beyond that….

We only saw a small part of Yinrun's nomination. It's possible she gave additional reasons for nominating Hallie, including a justification of why she didn't nominate Olivia, but in the context of Yinrun's own 'rulebreak', there was a certain irony in focusing on the part about Hallie's rulebreak.

Also, nominating Olivia would have meant not nominating the other person she nominated I can't remember who it is, but that nomination might actually have been more important to Yinrun than the nomination for Hallie

Yinrun's other nomination was Kerry, she was perfectly justified in both nominations and had very valid reasons.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply they weren't or that she wasn't justified

No it's ok I understand what you were saying, I agree there was irony in the Hallie nomination though lol.

Vanessa 26-10-2023 06:15 PM

Hailie seems to really turn once she's ahad a drink. Olivia is more fun, less annoying.

Redrose 26-10-2023 11:52 PM

I'm not buying Yinruns little girl act. She comes from a very affluent part of the UK. Named the poshest place in the North of England.

Withano 27-10-2023 01:49 AM

You’re all overthinking it. Hallie broke rules twice, Olivia once - and she was already reaching for reasons to nominate.
