Jordan The Cheshire Cat

My goodness i've never seen him grin and smirk so much like a teenager with a school crush , he loves the attention both Matty & Henry are giving him. And he's playing them off against eachother... when he's around Henry he acts like Matty is bothering him and he goes back to his ventriloquist frozen face .

And he pretended he didn't enjoy the VIP party .Then when he's around Matty, he's giggling and smirking like a cheshire cat ... and keeps calling him "confusion" and chasing after him and tickling him.

This is going to blow up in Jordan's face, When both Henry & Matty get fed up of competing for his affections. Henry can't even hide his jealousy. And Matty is always wanting an explanation. Jordan likes sending out mixed signals.

I can't work out if he even really likes Matty I just think he is a pawn in Jordans game. I feel sorry for Henry being picked up and then dropped all of the time. Could be Jordans downfall at some point.

Seems more like he's winding them both up for his amusement ,but he's hard to read ....in the garden he made dark jokes about his dad that died. Like Trish says... it's difficult to tell when he's being serious.

But the way he goes from Henry to Matty in front of them both , it's like he's showing off and he doesn't care. It might even be a tactic of some kind....but I think there's going to be an argument, it's already feeling really awkward...and I can't look away.

Maybe Jordan is on the spectrum ..

A common and sometimes unspoken myth about autistic individuals is that they are self-absorbed. Some non-autistic folks complain that the autistic people in their lives always find a way to turn the conversation back to themselves. Others imply or state outright that autistic people are egocentric or even narcissistic.
The myth is deeply rooted in autism’s history and involves misunderstandings of the different ways that many autistic people think, socialize, and experience the self.
While an autistic person’s ways of relating to others and to the world around them may appear self-centered or self-absorbed, egocentricity and preoccupation with oneself are not characteristics of autism. In fact, more often than not, an autistic person living in a neurotypical world has low self-esteem and does not always have a strongly formed self-concept.

I think he just hides behind his humour and doesn't let people know how he exactly feels.

Yeah he does have similar traits to autism , i still think he's well aware of what he's doing. I wonder how he'd react if Henry told him he didn't like the attention he's giving Matty. Would Jordan play dumb or not care ?.

…yeah, I am beginning to think that Jordan does feel that he has the whole ‘trio’ situation balanced and is hoping for it being the talking point of interest that it’s become…but I think it’ll all start to crumble …or maybe not, it’s only a 6 week series…

I like the team Jordan,Yimrun,Trish and Henry they have some deep and interesting conversations, I dont dislike Matty but sometimes his presence kinda spoils it.

I totally agree....its like Matty is only there because he fancies Jordan he isn't really interested in the others. Whereas the other 4 are there for each other.

Some people dont like things like the VIP party....I hate Discos...taking turns to solo dance in front of each other....I would rather someone else take my place so I totally understood where he was coming from...

Jordan looked like he was having a ball with Chanelle kissing her & Matty at the VIP party,I think he just lied to Henry as he thought it was what Henry wanted to hear. I find Jordan a bit calculating tbh ....he acts differently around Henry.

He likes Chanelle,Matty & Henry all giving him attention, so whether he's trying to create a storyline or just enjoys to have his cake . Probably a bit of both.

People with Asperger’s can absolutely be narcissists as well. Having ASD doesn’t make you totally innocent and exclude you from having a personality disorder.

He has chosen Henry. Excellent choice!
