Tbh so many places throw out good stuff, especially seasonal stuff that could go to charities or what not.

I've seen tiktoks of people dumpster diving and finding brand new household items and food in date for months

I don’t think he has properly fallen for his partner, he is in lust rather than in love I would imagine once he actually falls for someone he will not be so keen to share

He is that guy that you avoided at parties when at Uni because he gave you such second-hand embarrassment.

I mean it often feels like the guy just looked up a Wikipedia list of alternative lifestyles and checked all of them off to make himself feel special.

I know I can just Google it, but when has that ever come up into any kind of conversation?

He eats food out bins that are still in date , basically supermarkets waste a ton of food .

I had to look it up, but I think it's a good thing to do. Even if Matty is using it to make himself look good, he's still helping the environment

I know it’s still in date, and I can understand that it is good to avoid food waste, but there’s something about rummaging through bins to get those foods that makes me feel a little unsettled there!

That's why I wouldn't do it. I mean, the in-date food is fine, but what else is going to be in there?

Maybe Matty is the makeweight in the relationship and has no real say in matters

Yeah you deffo won't get me searching through bins either , i don't even like the idea of searching through skips !..... despite people finding the odd treasure, but the thought of jumping in a skip or bin... just not for me :omgno: .

I saw a guy do this on a TV show. He got all his gifts for family and friends out the skips and even his Christmas dinner. Even managed to find a mini tree.

Why do your supermarkets throw away in date food? That seems crazy to me. I've worked in plenty of food retail situations and it would never happen.

It is crazy, I don't know why they waste all that food either.... they should just send it to homeless shelters ,and people living on the streets :shrug:.

I guess they won’t want to risk being sued if someone got poorly or even just tried it on
