Viewers do it, too, in fairness. When I very briefly posted on Digital Spy (before I got banned lol), you'd always see people online treating Yinrun like a gonk. It always happens with HMs who are foreign and female. The viewers start treating such HMs like they're the most adorable little children they've ever seen and magnifying every silly little thing they do like it's the funniest thing that's ever happened on Earth. It's all very patronising lol. Somewhat analogous to the soft bigotry of low expectations, in a way.
Anyways I don't disagree with Yinrun, in fairness to her. I mean the early part of the clip demonstrated pretty succinctly that Olivia's a bit of a classless cow lol. |
