Not Matty calling Olivia loud, the bloody hypocrite.

He is far more annoying imo.

She is loud though, and he’s not. That’s not hypocritical.

He’s annoying but not in the same way as Olivia…who is truly loud and annoying. So no…it’s not hypocritical by my means.

smudgie 29-10-2023 09:20 PM

.

Hardly hypocritical, Olivia is loud and screechy, Matty is quiet.

Mich3LL3 29-10-2023 09:25 PM

Hes right.

vesavius 29-10-2023 09:26 PM

I mean, both would be a hard swerve in real life

Agreed

Starscream 29-10-2023 09:27 PM

How dare someone who isn't loud call someone who is loud loud! That's somehow hypocritical!

Lister of Smeg 29-10-2023 10:47 PM

The deviant is getting on my nerves hope he's up this week :idc:

caprimint 30-10-2023 03:43 AM

Matty isn't loud though and Olivia is...?

AnnieK 30-10-2023 06:18 AM

Yeah, Matty isn't loud so not hypocritical. He is an odd character but loud isn't something I'd attribute to him

bots 30-10-2023 06:23 AM

Matty is weird, always has been. Olivia is young and was letting her hair down. She didn't break any rules, but she better be the one that gets possessed because otherwise she will be up for eviction

Could we describe Matty as unusual or different or alternative, rather than weird? I’m beginning to feel a bit sorry for him, especially as I’ve also seen him described as a perv and as a deviant. Or am I just being a bit soft!!?

bots 30-10-2023 11:58 AM

weird = unusual to me, and he is certainly unusual

Ray. 30-10-2023 11:59 AM

I think people should just be left alone to use the words they want to use in order to properly communicate what they feel. If people are calling him weird or deviant, then their feelings about his lifestyle are obviously negative and not neutral or indifferent. Suggesting to people that they should use different words is a dismissal of how they really feel about things.

I’m not trying to censor people, and my comment was made partly in jest. Hence why I asked if I was just being a bit too soft.

And I really have no issue with people expressing their opinions - that’s what we’re all here to do - as long as they are expressed as opinions, rather than facts.

Note, however, my comment was expressed as a question purposely, because a question allows people to have a think and make a choice. If the response to my question had been ‘no’, I would have said ‘okay, fair enough’ and that would have been that.

Therefore, I was not ‘suggesting’ people ‘should’ do anything. I did not use the word ‘should’ and your opinion that there was ‘a dismissal of how people feel’ is just that - it certainly isn’t a fact. Sadly, you misjudge me here.

I hope you took no offence at my comment, as I wasn’t aiming to deny your feelings or tell you what to do. My apologies if it came across that way to you.

Jeez man I was just talking in generalities. Wasn't making a comment on your intentions specifically. No harm done either way, I hope.

Okay, maybe some misunderstanding here - as you posted directly under my comment, it seemed as if it was in response to it. Cheers for explaining.

No harm done. There’s bigger things to worry about in the world when all’s said and done.
