What is it with this lot and food?
There seems to be no structure to their eating, they all seem to be stuffing their faces half the day and cooking at ridiculous hours despite being on an economy shopping budget. They just randomly decide they want a chicken wrap as a snack at like 1 in the morning then make out Dylan is a control freak for pointing out they'll run out of food that way. The shopping budget doesn't seem harsh enough for the amount of food they seem to eat

But you're right, in the house they're cooking grub you'd normally have for lunch or tea at 11pm. It's madness. |
Yeah I get they're all obviously in a wake up late, go to bed late routine but the eating times all seem all over the shop and a bit of a free for all
Barely seen them all sharing a proper meal they've cooked together once |
I think Dylan has made a rod for his own back by making the budget and the kitchen his domain. He is, of course, correct in what he says, but in doing so he is being seen as controlling and is antagonising many of the housemates. If he wants to remain, he might be wise to step right away from the shopping list and the kitchen this week.

I think most people snack when they are bored, and most people are bored a lot. Especially in that house most of the time I would think.
But in there also I think there is also a malicious '**** you, you're not the boss of me' element to it all. They know that they can make certain people mad by simply eating toast. It's all very passive-aggressive and sad. |

i think they reckon that BB wont let them starve so they pig in as soon as their new shopping arrives

Things that aren't strong in that house. |
I thought it was funny how everyone was taking the task jokingly until Dylan had his turn and mentioned the food situation, and then suddenly everyone in the house turned armchair psychologist for a moment.

It's always intriguing to observe how people's eating habits play out, especially in a unique environment like that. Food can be a central point of discussion and sometimes even tension in group settings.
On the topic of food, have you ever thought about incorporating organic barley grass powder into your diet? It's a fantastic way to boost your nutritional intake naturally. Whether you sprinkle it into smoothies, mix it with yogurt, or get creative with recipes, it's a convenient way to get more essential nutrients. Sometimes, experimenting with new ingredients can add an exciting twist to your culinary experiences. |
I'm surprised Trish has fingers left the way she crams those crisps down her gullet.

I think boredom plays a part.

…do you not think it’s something that a group dynamic house would do also…as we know they are…like a ‘power thing’…it was interesting with Yinrun’s party when she had to choose those invited…that’s she didn’t have any sense of power of inviting those in ‘her group’…but she rationalised and chose fairly…
