Last nights events have changed everything !

I had a look online and the general consensus reflected our own reactions… the vast majority supported Trish ( and Noky ) .

I’ve copied and pasted a few interesting takes on the event

::::;;

Trish is the obvious winner after last night

She's witty , entertaining, loyal and has a backbone.

The way she handled tonight and took the brunt of the heat from Noky and then continued to make sure she wasn't ostracised was nothing short of amazing.

Her chances of winning have definitely increased according to the betting, after tonight she is now 3rd favourite ahead of Olivia.
::

I've always been a fan so this is fine by me and she seems to be having loads of fun on live feed tonight which is great to see. Her and Henry were creased with laughter recalling Noky acting shocked at the nomination reveals. Oh and before anyone calls her bitchy and 2 faced, Noky was there too and joining in.

::

She’s a socialist. The best of people. I have some issues about how she communicates as she comes across as very rigid, harsh and argumentative.
It’s because she knows for sure her heart is in the right place …

I have to say, I think Trish handled herself very well in that argument with Dylan.

He came out and jumped straight in at Trish and she stood her ground and came out the better person in my opinion.

::

There probably are ways of handling it better in retrospect but in the heat of the moment I thought she did good. Stood her ground, made her point.

Not usually a Trish fan but I respected her for that

::

Trish went right up in my estimation tonight. I like her.
Dylan made a fool of himself.
He was embarrassed when he found out she hadn't even nominated him but tried to cover it by saying they were lying.

::

I love Trish after that.

I liked her but was unsure because I didn't know if I'd seen the real her yet, but I certainly know she's genuine after tonight.

She stood her ground well in the heat of the moment. She even called a house meeting to stop people ganging on Noki.

Dylan boiled my piss tonight. I get him being hurt and emotional in the moment, but I'd have told him that after calming down, he owes those two girls an apology.
::

Both Trish and Noky have shot right up to being two of my favourites. I think Olivia (another one of my favourites) let herself down a bit getting involved in the conspiracy stuff, she was a lot better when she was just happy the public didn't evict her. I hope she won't start being hostile to Noky. Thought Paul was being awful in that HLs show too with all that stirring the pot. Olivia is much better without him around.

…. Plus a few interesting negatives on Paul

::

Paul saying all Trish had to do was calmly and clearly explain her reasons for nominating Dylan. Like he would calmly respond to someone coming at him aggressively. He couldn't even handle 2 girls laughing in his presence in case it threatened his manhood somehow.
::

I can't stand Paul either. He gives me the creeps. Funny he's the one protesting Noki is fake all the time. What that really is, is a reflection back at himself if you ask me. I think the real him is very deceitful. Reminds me a lot of my cheating ex, like I get the same vibe from him.

Paul is like Dylan, selfish and very egotistical.

A very good point there

It has been encouraging to see the level of support for Noky and Trish online for sure, I just hope it translates to the wider viewership

What i have learnt is that what loud people write and what the actual result is, can be polar opposites

Well it must translate as the bookies changed their odds on her winning almost immediately - which suggests they took an awful lot of money for Trish to win via their online betting sites after the show

That’s known as wishful thinking

You will never see a poor bookie .. sure last minute changes occur but they’re only slight changes.

You won’t see a complete outsider win something .. maybe a close second or third can take the win .

…‘she’s a socialist’…:laugh:…I know in an ideal world, Trish could have put her points forward more calmly….but it was far from an ideal world situation, there was a whole lot of layers to it…defensiveness was also an obvious emotion that many of us would feel…defensive because it was not only a BB instructed thing but also defensive for Noky who was completely destroyed in the moment with her emotions…and the thing with Trish is that she did protect and defend Noky completely…like a mama bear, type thing…she didn’t once think of herself and take a stance of……ughhhh, Noky, why did you choose me, I really wish you hadn’t etc….she was fearless while Dylan’s actions were all for himself…

Great summary !

Yes you are correct .. not once has Trish said anything negative as regards her being chosen by Noky and being effectively thrown to the wolves

…while Dylan’s anger and rage and stance etc would appear to have come from a place of self….’I’m this angry because it’s me and I felt an assured ‘protection’ from you both…’…

Last nights events have changed everything !

Trish closing in on 2nd spot in the current odds and leaving Olivia in her wake !

I hope Olivia drops further down, she's so goofy ...she doesn't realise Paul is ruining her chances haha.

She's hardly a socialist though... She's a normie mainstream centre lefty. If she actually had actual socialism imposed on her she would probably be in tears within a week.

Still, I like her and have done for a while, even despite her Guardianista-level politics and pseudo-spiritualism.

Trish was pretty daft to be so triggered by Dylan's reaction.. she didn't even nominate him, and meanwhile Noky let her take all the flack, instead just tearful on the couch

Are you watching the same TV show as us ? :joker:, Dylan came out shouting and swinging pretty much .. like he wanted a fight ( verbal fight that is ) . What was Trish supposed to do ... just sit quietly?. Noky has a different personality and doesn't like confrontation. Trish is more willing to stand her ground and defend herself,and I love that .

Dylan was the hostile nutter , he wouldn't even let her explain . He kept cutting her off ....then to make it worse he tries to gaslight her by accusing her of just calling him names, d1ck face Paul was gaslighting the situation aswell.

It's a load of crap what the bullies said about " oh if you just calmly explained and told us how you feel" .... Dylan was obnoxious the moment he entered back into the room , he was never going to listen to reason .

So Paul can take his mouth off Dylan's bum now ,and Olivia can stop pretending she's Dylan's cheerleader now . When she's had a problem with Dylan herself.
