playing devil's advocate on the paul situation..

When Paul and Olivia were chatting, they were right - Noky uses Trish to fight her battles for her. A real friend of Trish would have seen her getting emotional and stopped her from engaging with Paul.. which led to her accusing him of Bullying which for me is a step too far.

Noky left Trish to fend for herself, running away to the DR

And regarding Paul being a bully....
was Paul being a dickhead yes
Being an absolute twit yes
Bullying? no I don't think so. Bullying is a word that is way over used and to call that bullying detracts from real situations where people find themselves in desperate situations

BB have been doing a hachet job on Paul since the start. As soon as Farida went they needed to set someone up and it was him. He has been one of the biggest characters on the show. If the live feed was 24 hours things would be different.

The fact he has left yet fans are still talking about him speaks volumes. ...they are obsessed! and this is what makes a memorable housemate, people love to hate.

thesheriff443 04-11-2023 09:40 AM

He tryed to intimidate her
Walking back up stairs he looked at noky and said what are you looking at in an aggressive manner

He told Trish you don’t scare me, she replied I’m a 5ft 1 woman I don’t scare anyone

If if stayed in that house for longer thing would of escalated

GlitterUK 04-11-2023 09:42 AM

She may be 5ft 1 but her mouth is bigger than that alone.

Cherie 04-11-2023 09:44 AM

Trish asked Noky what had been said then took it on herself to engage with Paul, Noky is not responsible for how Trish conducts herself, Noky had already responded to Paul, Trish loves to get involved in everything, she took it upon herself to speak to Jordan when Henry is perfectly capable of speaking to Jordan himself

I dont know if you watch L&L Fruity but Trish did clarify to Paul in a clip that she spoke out of turn and should have said he 'was acting like a bully' rather than that he was a bully

It takes a bigger and better person to speak their mind than sit in silence

The only one that has done a hatchet job on him is himself.

BB doesn’t put the words in his mouth. Doesn’t make him act like a brute. Doesn’t make him intimidate others. He’s not evil. But he really over stepped the line with his behaviour when either things weren’t going ‘his way’ or his gangs way.

ah no I haven't seen L&L that does explain it a little better thanks Cherie, also I agree with this, I just wonder if Noky despite speaking a caring, genuine, empathetic game.. doesn't really walk it. Her actions and her words don't necessarily match, in my opinion

I do think they've made Paul into a villain but his actions at Yinrun's party were pathetic and embarrassing. He's only himself to blame

is that fair though although Paul is clearly an intimidating person, but he's never crossed any boundaries in that respect, unless you include throwing things during Yinrun's party, which would be a fair thing to say

GlitterUK 04-11-2023 09:52 AM

He was going out with a bang. He knew his time was up.

In think you take the word intimidation far to lightly

He wanted to make noky especially to scared to confront him

GlitterUK 04-11-2023 09:58 AM

Noky doesn't have to go against him, when she just has to wind up Trish and set her free.

That’s not how it happened
Noky stood up to that prick in the ant task and when he was walking up stairs staring at noky and said what you looking at she replied you obviously

Exactly, I find this idea that Noky could 'use' Trish bizarre. I mean firstly none of this would have happened if Paul hadn't acted like a dick in front of the whole house (so it's not like he was just a thing between Noky and him) and then Trish will react how she wants to react

As for her running to the DR it was implied last night that BB had called Noky there to check she was okay rather than her choosing to go there

It's still only the day after... Of course we are still talking about him.

We won't even remember his name by Monday.

I’m in absolute agreement with all you say here.

Regarding Paul, he was mainly throwing rolled up cling film. Yes, he was very unpleasant to Noky and I cannot condone that. It was unnecessary and a little bit intimidating.

I have to agree with your view of Noky, though, and it seemed to me during her conversation on live feed that she was trying to garner back support from Olivia by distancing herself from Trish. It did make me wonder why she hadn’t chosen Olivia to join her in the task, considering she shares a bed with her, which suggests a greater closeness. And, until the fall-out from the killer noms task, we had barely seen Noky with Trish and the upstairs crowd, choosing Olivia and that group instead.

Part of me does wonder whether Noky is playing a very clever game in order to ensure her path to the final.

I have to agree with that, in particular, when it is something that truly matters to the person or in regards to the principles they live by.

That’s not to say people should speak out in a way that intentionally hurts others or just to be vindictive.

And there are times when it’s better to pick your battles carefully, rather than fight every one.

Trish is who she is though

She’s going to help someone out ( as she has done time after time )

She doesn’t calculate

I absolutely agree with you regarding Trish, Zizu. I don’t believe she is calculated in the least. To me, Trish is led by passion and principle and is willing to defend those who can’t, or don’t, defend themselves. I truly admire that about her, as well as a long list of other positive qualities she possesses. This is real and she is genuine.

I think that was why, after seeing Noky had been crying over the Paul situation, she felt the need to protect and defend her, hence standing by her principles.

And I’m sorry, Zizu, as I know you love her, so please don’t detest me for this, but I don’t quite trust or believe in Noky, in the same way as I do Trish.
