Nominations were not face to face

Interesting they changed it.

MTVN 07-11-2023 10:00 PM

I thought that they'd been very quiet about it then suddenly announced there that it was dropped lol

I wonder if they're wary about creating more conflict in there after the emotions of the last few days?

Lostie! 07-11-2023 10:01 PM

Diary Room nominations tend to be better anyway so I'm fine with that

rusticgal 07-11-2023 10:01 PM

Why??…..why did they do that?….pathetic.

Agreed.

Glenn-C 07-11-2023 10:04 PM

I think the face to face nominations were when Jenkin was put up in the Hunger Games task

GoldHeart 07-11-2023 10:05 PM

I don't understand why they've changed it , now we'll never know what the choices would have been like.

Is this just because of the rule break?, bit silly really  .

No they definitely said f2f would be in the main nominations. AJ said something about BB keeping us guessing. So clearly they've changed it .

GlitterUK 07-11-2023 10:10 PM

That is rubbish they have changed it F2F would have given people a chance to see peoples true colours (example - Jordan and if he would nominate Noky) within the house. This years show is too manipulated.

bots 07-11-2023 10:11 PM

i think it's to manage the conflict that is still pretty strong

Jordan would have been up either way.

Perhaps we'll get face to face nominations after Friday's eviction instead? Then a midweek eviction before the final.

Soon it will be purely public vote before the final.

bots 07-11-2023 10:17 PM

that will be the last eviction before the final week

Yes that’s perfectly feasible

Thank god they changed it, they were so overdone on C5 it became boring and they’re really never that interesting cause everyone tries to hold back

I’ve always said if they insist on everyone hearing nominations, they should roll the tapes of the DR noms. But you can only do that once or else they’ll start holding back in the DR too. In fact the final week might be a good shout

Mitchell 08-11-2023 05:11 AM

It would’ve been quite unfair that it was face to face, but Olivia doesn’t have to nominate

it would have been very harsh, but then, she did rule break

Ammi 08-11-2023 06:04 AM

…because it’s harder to edit face to face nominations and they needed to be able to edit them shorter to allow for the extra time taken for the rule break stuff…?…and maybe when we see tonight, they might have skipped through a few nominations more quickly that’s others to allow for other things …but we’d hope to see more of every face to face one…?…so last minute they changed them to allow for the rule break that they didn’t know should happen…?…

bots 08-11-2023 06:29 AM

I think it could have been really bad with all the upstairs crew nominating Chanelle after her rule break and Olivia who doesn't get a vote.

In Olivia's case she has to just sit there and take humiliation without having any course of action

Some may say they deserve it, but with tempers already frayed it could have pushed a couple of housemates over the edge.

At the end of the day it's a game

GoldHeart 08-11-2023 07:39 AM

Tom should be banned from nominating, that little weasel has been talking nominations several times. BB must like him .

BB is favouring him , I think he'll have to damage BB property now to get punished.

Cherie 08-11-2023 07:46 AM

I think this ensures there is a range of people up, if it were f2f people would be too fearful of upsetting their friends and would just go for Trish and Noky for ease

AnnieK 08-11-2023 08:10 AM

With how the Housemates have been in the last week with the divide and people being quite close to the edge, maybe they thought F2F was just a bit too much (especially after seeing the anxiety it caused Yinrun and Trish in the Hunger Games. They do have a duty of care and so maybe they thought it was better for the HMs to nominate as normal
