Would you pay...

...to see a live feed which was 24/7?

They would still block legal stuff etc.

Kate! 10-11-2023 03:40 PM

Depends how much, but probably not.

OnTheRight 10-11-2023 03:41 PM

Nah.

Redrose 10-11-2023 04:02 PM

BB1 was always the best for live feed. You could pick which Room you wanted to watch. Now you just get what you're given and most of the time it's birdsounds.

vesavius 10-11-2023 05:35 PM

I would pay a fiver for a month of 24/7 live feed, yeah. They would need to be less severe with the birdsong though if it was a paid service.

I think it's simple existence really helps keep the producers more honest and gives everyone a better show in general.

smudgie 10-11-2023 05:36 PM

No.
Too much birdsong.

If it’s like the USA one you’d probably only get bird noises for copyrights so yeah I would pay if they did what the USA do

MTVN 10-11-2023 05:58 PM

Yeah sure, would get more enjoyment out of it than my Netflix subscription tbh

Saph 10-11-2023 06:10 PM

No I never watched it tbh

Luke_Patton_ 10-11-2023 10:43 PM

Yes - 100% - I think more live feed will be coming with CBB next year.

GlitterUK 10-11-2023 10:44 PM

For those who have said what amount would you pay?

Like I said, with less censorship, I would pay a fiver a month for it

CocaColin 11-11-2023 12:02 AM

Not anymore. The show's over!

Up to £20 for the whole series probably

GlitterUK 11-11-2023 10:25 AM

Yeah I think people would pay a one off fee for the series. Maybe have the 11-2 for free and if you want more than pay.

Northern Monkey 11-11-2023 10:59 AM

For pure, unadulterated, zero bird noise, zero interruption and no ads. Yes. Anything less. No.

GlitterUK 11-11-2023 03:55 PM

They would still need to cut any legal/private bits no doubt. Do you want bathroom/shower viewing also? haha

Ammi 11-11-2023 04:01 PM

…no, I don’t think that I would because I wouldn’t be able to watch it through the night/sleeping time and I’m not an all night owl…during the day I wouldn’t watch it too much either…but back in the day with BB, other than seeing a bit more of the tasks, daytime house activity was often fairly slow…with the dramas in the later evening and through the early hours…I mean, I loved live feed at that time…but I don’t think I’d watch that much now….

…and also when they were discussing ex/past housemates in conversations and references….that was also something that the bird song covered if I recall…

GlitterUK 11-11-2023 04:07 PM

It was more popular back then I wonder if they would even have the numbers to bother even showing it. They need a few series under their belt first maybe.

…I’m not sure how any viewing figures would compare…I would say that it was more original in that it was more of a time of the birth of reality TV…?…and then the rise of it has led to so many reality shows more or less showing back to back on multiple channels, you know…?…I just can’t imagine how impossible it would be to try to fit in 24hour live feed as well……but yeah, I guess lifestyles are now a bit more leaning to ‘fast food type reality shows…’…being more fitting to the here and now…?…

GlitterUK 11-11-2023 04:20 PM

BB would still be in my top 3 reality shows.
