Do you still support Trish?

Yes or no.

Benji122 13-11-2023 03:19 PM

I mean she’s taken accountability, I would like a further video explaining herself but she’s only been out 2 days so we will see. But I believe people deserve second chances especially over something that has been said 10 years ago. I guess what she does now is the main thing

Niamh. 13-11-2023 03:22 PM

She's not in the house anymore so what's to support? Not my place to demand any explanations from her. I do think it was very rich of her to be talking about racial stereotyping and "microaggressions" though knowing how completely in your face racist she'd been, she must have realised there was a chance those tweets would resurface

OnTheRight 13-11-2023 03:23 PM

Nope - A vile, racist.

Maru 13-11-2023 03:23 PM

I understand your feeling, but I'd rather move on than give her more attention.

Totally this. I wish her no ill will, and she’s out so that’s that. But she does look a bit of a dick going on about ‘angry black woman’ etc stereotypes, with the stuff she’s come out with.

Mich3LL3 13-11-2023 03:37 PM

I judged her based on her time in the house, so I hope she will learn from all of it and be the person I liked. Doesnt really care about any of them outside of the house tbh.
Whole situation is disappointing, not only from Trish but from people who like her and dislike her to have a spat in such a vile and maliscious manner. Hornet's nest.

That’s my stance

Certain posters keep saying she’s posted some more recent offensive tweets yet none have been posted as evidence

There seems to be a lot of hearsay going on which is completely meaningless

I’d like to see more evidence and also maybe a video apology/explanation from Trish on the coming days

She literally interfered in all aspects of the house mates lives while she was in there. Not just about race, but about everything. Telling them how they should behave and what they could or couldn't do. She even lectured Jordan about Matty and Henry

She isn't the listening type, nor do i think she is constantly self reflecting on her own behaviour

So, my take on her really is that she has shaped her views over many years and she isn't going to change

ebandit 13-11-2023 04:22 PM

she's still the same woman...................early on i wrote 'i kinda like her but trish is rather too full of herself'.......recent developments
have not changed that opinion

She did get involved and did occasionally council people but she was generally correct and gave lots of good advice hence why she was the favourite to win at the time of her eviction

She was never fave to win, she was close to overtaking Yinrun but never did.

I never supported her in the first place so can't vote on this one. She has gone down further in my estimations.

Dylan was the HM who first brought up race with his silly " black on black crime" comment . And neither of them liked eachother anyway.

It might seem rich of her now looking back, but in the house she constantly got the " aggressive" label thrown on her ,and she unfairly got blamed for Paul's eviction due to 1 comment . Non of the garden gremlins wanted to admit Paul did it to himself, if we're all here saying Trish has now ruined her career , then logically Paul got himself evicted and Trish had no control over the boos he got . It's as simple as that .

But Tom & especially Chanelle wouldn't let the subject go . And whatever people now think of Trish ...she was still bitched about and wrongly ganged upon in the house. Hm's can't complain about Trish confronting them and having emotions, when they've been 2 faced themselves and thrown around rude remarks & name calling
themselves. Tom got so nasty and stroppy from wearing a sheep costume,he even put 1 finger up at Trish yet he called her the " aggressive one " .

Obviously Twitter gate has put a damper on things ,and I'm disappointed in her. But even when Chanelle & Trish got evicted. Tom still had to make a sly dig " I'm sad Chanelle had gone" , again behaving and if she hasn't done it to herself.

Chanelle clearing the air with Trish upstairs, was the most pointless conversation. Chanelle never apologised ,and still repeatedly kept making excuses. She's like a parrot on drugs with amnesia. That conversation made me want to scratch my own eyes out ,is was that painful and exhausting to endure .

That’s what gets me too. The Miss Leftie Warrior Princess routine and then we find out what she’s really like.. it could be funny if she wasn’t so vile

Black Dagger 13-11-2023 11:16 PM

Yes

caprimint 13-11-2023 11:17 PM

Never did :fan: I enjoyed her in the early days but as soon as she started all those arguments, especially after labelling Paul as a "bully" I was done with her

As for her tweets, I realise the majority were 10 years ago and that's a long time no matter her age, it's easy for her and her views to have changed in that amount of time, not so sure about the tweets from more recently though, still seems a bit dodgy. But I do think people should move on from it and base her off of what we saw in the house, whether that was positive or negative and let her be instead of trying to make her life hell and trolling her on social media

You sound like Chanelle & Tom bringing up the 'bully' comment yet again  . The Paul topic has been a broken record that has dominated too much of the series, it's like 200 parrots repeating themselves high on drugs. That's how annoying it's been .

As for Trish living her life in peace, we all know that won't be happening anymore. Unless she keeps a very low profile.

iRyan 14-11-2023 03:41 AM

I forgive her, but I wouldn't say I "support" her

Mike0902 14-11-2023 04:51 AM

Hell no never did do and after the tweets she is what she is .. a vile nasty person who should never have been allowed on the show to start with.
