Do you think the way Matty and Yinrun decided was fair?

Now don't get me wrong I'm very happy with the outcome but it felt a bit like Matty pushed a decision which would exonerate him. Granted Yinrun wasn't much help but he basically put all the responsibility on her by coming out with the 'I'm fine around Olivia but you're not comfortable around Tom right? You don't make me uncomfortable though Tom'. And Tom is left there seething at Yinrun while reassuring Matty that it's nothing to do with him. He dodges blame and also wins himself back favour with Olivia by keeping her safe. Very sneaky

I don't know why it didn't even cross their mind to put Tom up as he was the only one not to face eviction yet. That would seem the most fair. Or if it was between Tom and Olivia do rock, paper, scissors. I wonder if they were told by BB they couldn't do that because they've always used that in the past for decisions like this

He did take advantage of Yinruns dithering tbf but then she should be a bit stronger at this stage

Vanessa 14-11-2023 10:43 AM

I'm glad it was Tom, because he's always so smug. He thinks he's untouchable.

Atake25 14-11-2023 10:50 AM

She left him to make the decision and say the name
I can see how it was difficult but it was all left to Matty to decide because Yinrun couldn’t do it

as a Yinrun fan, I think she came out badly from the scenario, even Tom looked better.

BB is a game you have to nominate, Yinrun should get a grip. Matty played the situation well I don't think sneaky is the right word. Yinrun didn't deserve any better and refused to make a decision so Matty took advantage.

Matty suddenly acting like Tom was his bff was a bit weird

If someone found nominating such a task why come on a show where it a crucial part of the show.

Felt Yinrun went into crybaby mode and dumped the ownership of eviction onto Matty's shoulders. Yinrun hoped she would avoid blame but it seems to have backfired.

i thought it was all a bit odd, but Yinrun did refuse to put Olivia up and stood firm on it which i thought was admirable

Exactly
Tom thought he'd coast to the final, he's such a sly weasel. Better late than never, as he should have faced eviction weeks ago.

I think it was fair, Yinrun feels uncomfortable around Tom at times like she mentioned but Matty doesn’t feel that way about Olivia, he just gets a little annoyed by her at times so I think it’s definitely fair. Plus, Olivia had already faced eviction before but Tom hasn’t, he’s been allowed to coast through so I would have used that as a reason myself and would find it fair.

If you look at the series as a whole,
Tom most definitely deserved to be up

He has slipped under the radar by being a yes man to others

He should be put up for the constant nose ring twisting

Matty always went between the two groups, no one had an issue with it....when Noky did it ...it was a bit minus against her

this seems totally fair to me, I wonder why is that? why did Matty get away with it but Noky less so.

Definitely unfair

I felt Yinrun left Matty to make the decision largely by himself.

And yet it was Yinrun's choice who left. She's good at getting her way without facing any backlash.

But she did face backlash. From Tom and some of the viewers.

I felt for both Matty and Yinrun. That was an awful position to put them both in, considering they’re probably the two most sensitive people in there. I think I’d feel just as shitty and upset having to do that, especially this close to the end.

bots 14-11-2023 07:15 PM

It's amazing they didn't enter into an immediate wail off

I know this is an unpopular opinion , but I think Matty is more genuine than Jordan & Henry. I know Matty had that OTT outburst for the cameras ,in the family / friends task . But he just seems more straightforward if he gets on with someone he gets on with them...and he's not easily swayed ,whatever people say about his ' shifty eyes' lol. Those are just how his eyes are .

Oh I love Matty. He’s a genuinely nice guy and won’t be swayed by others.
