AJ is a terrible, terrible interviewer…

She isn't very good tbf, but my god she is gorgeous.

Awful.

She is an awful interviewer, as well as a bad speaker.
A change would be better for next time.
Babatunde and Yinka get my vote.

I think she has a slight lisp so along with her strong accent but I don't have any problem understanding her at all

Well that’s just blatantly not true

They don't say anything when Will is presenting interviews with her , both of them have probably been told what to say by producers. But i guess it's easier to blame AJ as usual :sleep:.

I have criticised both Aj & Will when it comes to letting of nasty hm's behaviour, but as it's been mentioned i think there's a script they have to follow. so yeah it's copy and paste , but what can we do:shrug: .

I like her accent, her presenting, her personality, her…. Everything. Except her weak interviews. As said, that could be a production decision though.
Or maybe she just needs more practice.

She was more likeable in the Tom and Jenkin interviews.

Will does the exact same thing when he interviews hm's. Why are people going easy on Will ? because he's from down south ?.

The tone of the interview is set by the show producers. She is given a script. Don't blame AJ for that

It feels like the ITV way to not upset anyone. She does bring up negative moments but they are always sugar coated or presented in a lighthearted manner.

Or Yinka and Tyler West, who is just a natural.

I think people are discussing AJ as she was presenting tonight. They might well be discussing Will if it had been him doing L&L tonight.

To suggest that people have negative views about AJ over Will, because she is from up North and he is from down South is suggesting prejudice in anyone who dares to make any comment you disagree with on someone you like. That’s not a valid assumption, not fair and not necessary.

Well no Garfie as previously when AJ & Will present together, usually AJ gets the worse of the criticism , people have said they don't understand her broad accent and that she has a 'lisp' . I think both presenters are on the same level, i haven't seen one do anything worse than the other. they were both finding their feet.

As i keep saying Davina made a ton of mistakes and had some very cringy moments , yet is praised as a Queen for some reason.

AJ is a dreadful presenter. Give me Will every time. I only hope she's not going to present the next series.

I agree that both AJ and Will have their good and bad points as presenters. For me, AJ has more personality and enthusiasm, whilst Will has more clarity in his communication skills. Neither are the best as far as I’m concerned.

AJ does get more criticism for her lack of ability in communicating clearly and effectively, but that’s probably because the key purpose of a presenter is to communicate with viewers. But that’s just a fact, not the consequence of a prejudice as your original comment suggested.
